well if its anything like brimstone, they will say its op and unbalanced even though spike and lmur are doing fine. ir marlet would be what would make the heli more playable at that br

Found some images of LMM fired at surface targets from gun mounts too. Again observe the high angle for the launch.

I found the original video I was thinking of with the static fire! Shows the LMM lofting up over the horizon out of the launcher before tracking onto the target well below.
just need the ir seeker now, then we would have a competitive helicopter on our hands
Martlet still gunna do waaaaaay less damage than JAGM-MR and have a lot less range and the lack of LDIRCM makes the wildcat waaaaaay weaker defensively.
Im mostly looking forward to it in NE (if helis get added to NE) with the Sea Venoms (if/when they get added). For GRB, it just looks like a waste of time to uptier your 11.7/12.0 lineup for or to ever take over the AHMK2
Maybe if they ever decompress top tier… But I dont see that happening anytime soon…

true but would still be nice to have more choice in guidence options, yes i do hope we get the sea venoms and other missiles like sea skua too for anti ship and asw torpedos if we get subs in ne or navel

I think it should be enough.
If nothing else, what is the point of an IMU on the missile if the missile requires laser from the second it leaves the tube.
Everything else after that is just icing
