Look at South-African sub-tree, which is doomed on the air side.
We had South Africa as our sub-tree for YEARS, but we only got SAAF JAS39C as the aircraft of the subtree.

And we also have only three aircrafts from the indian subtree too.
Jaguar IS, HF-24 Marut, and MiG-21Bison.
We legitimately granted the rights to have indian vehicles by Gaijin. We should’ve had planes which we exported to India already.
SHAR FRS.51 or Folland Gnat as an example.
But, I also agree about this part from the deepest part of my heart.
The Sub-TT stuff never actually seems to be what we actually need
For example, all the Rooikats instead of the Fox, Scimitar and others not even added yet like the Saladin, Scorpion, etc.
Bosvark for 5.3 and ZA-35 for 8.3 but stil nothing for 5.3-8.3 despite already having 5.3 and 8.3 SPAAGs
We also got the Badger instead of Warrioer CSP or Ajax and we did not need the Badger for that BR, but we really desperately need something for 10.3+
The other way to look at it is that we got a Jaguar IS but still no Jaguar GR3A. We got a HF-24 Marut, but the Hunters are barely playable and we got a premium Mig-21 instead of a Premium Tonka. (or really any meaningful tonka fixes, the amount of people who claim the only “good” vehicle is the mig-21 is really annoying)
Im genuinely concerned that instead of seeing the Chally 2s fixed, we’ll get a T-80/90 C&P and instead of Sky Sabre we’ll get the Buk, etc etc
Heck, still waiitng for meaningful buffs for the Tornado Gr4 and Typhoon FGR4, but I can see just getting something from India instead of any fixes for either
When the soviet gets Buk, we get exported Pantsir instead of Buk or Sky Sabre.

I agree that this part sucks.
Our domestic one should’ve come first.
I was expecting some planes which would improve our doomed rank 5-7 grinds, because our jets are generally overrated.
(Example: Supersonic Mudmovers like Su-7BMK before they lost CCIP)
But voila, look what we got in the air.
We only got four planes along the sub-trees. (not only India but also SA)
and feels 3 of them fixed none of our problems in tech-tree.
SAAF JAS39C ← worst ARH Gripen thanks to gaijin, which is forced to use Derby only.
If we consider that SAAF never used AIM-9L/M and granted by ‘The F-5C theory’, they were also granted to use AIM-120 long ago. but they didn’t. 10/10 british tax moments.
(Worring about further discussion about SAAF JAS39C would be a derailment)
Jaguar IS ← Trial package for using Magic II. We don’t have an 11.0BR deck that perfectly suits it.
Seems Jaguar GR.1A or Bucc S.2B will be better for 10.7 deck, and Harrier T.10/Tonka GR.1 will be better for 11.7 deck.
Well, also, if you want to use Magic II, grinding French with premium F1C instead seems a better option than buying Jaguar IS to me.

HF-24 Marut ← Transsonic fighter which disguised as a strike jet to get air spawn.
I didn’t got that one bc I skipped that event, but I really wonder was it really needed?
Bucc S.1 or Sea Vixen seems a better CAS option, and it has insufficient bomb payload for getting a base in ARB. (That is why I skipped it. :P)
And regarding the MiG-21 Bison… sadly, I think it is partially fact, thanks to Gaijin. :/
In the tech-tree grind side, all we had as a premium jet before Bison was overpriced, outdated junk, and 21Bison is one and only vehicle which was worthful to buy.
But yeah, even though I like Bison and think that it saved many ‘newcomers to British TT’
Premium Tonka and the following Tonka Fixes would be juicier.

Eh… see I think what we have is fine, just, its all over BRed or has missing stuff.
The only gap we have, that cannot be filled natively is something supersonic around 10.7 which could be filled by a Cheatah or Mirage III. But other than that… Weve got loads of native options

I was talking based on ‘Gaijin will never ever gonna fix that Overtiered BR problem and we are going to pay British tax forever’, but your points are fair.
If those British taxes are lifted. Our air branches will going to be fine to grind.

Maybe the Indian MiG-21 could also fit there, but I also prefer the Cheatah if we need to choose only one.
Just as same as USAF F-84F only maintained their special treatment of keeping air spawn while other F-84Fs were doomed. :|
Gaijin: Sending Bucc S.1 down to Rank 5 is nerf because it will no longer be going to grind rank 7!
