I have not bothered going for it mainly because It won’t ever block research of other much better boata

I encountered him in Repulse, he literally rush straight into the worst position one can imagine where the whole our team can shoot nobody but him. He was under rain of fire from 4 or 5 capital ships yet he stayed alive for quite a few minutes before sunk from lack of crew (the kill credit went to me in Hood btw). To be able to withstand such level of beating without getting ammo detonation clearly disproves his evaluation of this ship to be the worst capital ship added in this update.

Well I feel that 90% of the problems can be solved by just making guns historically accurate.as the other 10% of the problem is most players that are not brand new will have renown which is just straight better apart from the float plane
I know it might be cope or whatever you want to call it, but it definitely feels like they don’t care for the british navel tree and it was reinforced by the leaks with the russians getting an R-class before britain.
But i do feel that yamato should only come with comparative ships that were built and then “paper" ships for nations with no equal as they have shown their inability to balance navel especially at to top ranks.
You might also be mistaken that we will even get a nelson or kgv by the end of next year.

Yep, at their current rate, we might see Warspite in 2027
I’m not particularly confident with the possibility of Gaijin giving us G3 16.5" or Lion class.
And to be honest though Yamato is very very scary, I am more fearful of Sovetsky Soyuz, yes its a thinner belt than Yamato, but 16" guns similar to Krons 12" and the RoF…
Can i ask if they ever made the guns and i remember hearing at some point the planed armor was thicker than they could make
I doubt ngl , cause naval tech tree as of now is way too cramped for any of those late ww2 to be added

They made the gun, but the barrel life was horrendous, shell quality was quite literally non-existent in not only actual physical quality but supposedly design too and nobody seems to have the firing trial data for the gun. But if you stick it into the WT calculator you get very high penetration iirc (I can’t find the calculator to back that up).
Armour on the plans is thicker than what they could make and of a type they couldn’t make. But if Gaijin give the as-planned configuration its very good raw thickness.
Not fully paper but laid down only, along the lines of Kronshtadt.
I believe Smin confirmed it was not planned as an event when it was first leaked. So the options are, Premium, Tech Tree, or not at all.
Personally I want her in her 1944-45 refit for the Tech Tree after Colossus.

Well, actually, I think they eventually would introduce paper ship. US players will be not satisfied with their Iowas and Japanese players will not be fully satisfied with their Yamato class. Soviet players will experience short of back-up ships for Sovetsky Soyuz unless Gaijin gives Sovetskaya Ukraina with 1938 design. French players will extremely, as Richelieu class would be one of weakest ‘end of the line’ battleship. GB players might feel short of penetration for 16’’ and 15’’ and call for N3, as its shells are at least existed.
Almost every nation has some weakness with comissioned or laid-down ships and players will try to fill those gaps with paper ships. Also will Gaijin.

And the armor on the N3 was also pretty dam good from memory
Pretty sure she did but what she had is better radar and aiming system iirc. Sorry I don’t know the technical term , if anyone know please correct. Meaning at longer range she have overall better firepower
