The 15-inch SAP seems to have received a massive nerf, does anyone know if it’s a bug or actually intended? It’s pen values are literally worse than the 13.5inch currently
Intended. SAP’s penetration effectiveness has been long criticized for too good compared to real life, and got nerf at this update. Destroyer’s and Cruiser’s SAP also got serious nerf too.

It seems to extreme to me at 225 let alone ranged and angle pen will mean you can’t hurt any real ships

I can see why SAP would be nerfed, but the 15 inch having worse pen than the 13.5 inch doesn’t make sense to me, also the Bayern’s SAP doesn’t seem to have been affected although its also 15 inch

Well if they wanted to kill naval they are doing a dam good job of it
yeah some SAP’s evade the nerf this update… maybe need to report but too many has changed to track all of them at short time for me.

So from what I’m reading I take it that its still not worth investing time and effort in Naval?
Just did a match in Rodney and it was nice that the shells landed where I aimed them, but still did no damage when I hit a Scharnhorst

yea messing about on the test drive it does seem more consistant but if the other issues remain then im still unsure if I want to spend the time grinding ect
