Well we both know that British boats would be too powerful with he-vt but the Americans with more of the same kind of secondaries can have all the he-vt they want

it is a good thing that we did not upgrade hms Royal Sovereign to have DP secondarys as we know they would get HE-VT

Ah! I forgot to mention that the new reserve Vosper on Coastal TT in the dev server was a neat addition to me.
Of course, Not a big addition as Warspite does.
But changing the gun from 7.7mm Lewis to 12.7mm Vickers seems quite a good change for Reserve Coastals. No more getting out-ranged by PT-6 maybe?
Since we got Freemantle class at Coastal nearly 6 months ago
Maybe adding one of
Armidale class,
Arafura class
or River class can be a neat addition for coastal TT in the near future, I guess.

Hurray! Finally caught up on the 700-odd posts since last visit… though didn’t read absolutely every word.
I might even have been inspired to complete the current event in Hood and/or one of my unspaded 7.0s (Renown - can’t recall if I have Barham or not. I may well have skipped getting it, as Barham is mostly famous for just blowing up and while that is ‘just so WT’ it wasn’t really appealing). Could start research on Rodney, ready to buy in May sales - and then ignore until it works somewhat like a battleship.
