I guess Gripen A (Early) could add in rank 8 for sweden tech tree, located after JA37C Viggen and before JA37D Viggen with Rb.99 (AIM-120B) & Gripen C (Early) (PS-05/A Mk.3 radar) in rank 8 but Gripen A mounted Rb.71 (Skyflash Temp) like JA37 Viggen ?
I don’t mind Grumman Tomcat (Royal Navy) as a air superiority fighter, and no guided Air-to-Ground ordinance & targeting pod
I’d have Gripen A as its initial in-service aircraft so mostly just a fighter at 11.7 with Skyflash PS/05 MK.1 and AIM-9L as well as some dumb bombs. It would have the same armament as the JA37D currently in-game but with a better radar, higher T/W and better flight performance so it would have to go after the first one, but before the one with AMRAAM.
Gripen C would have PS/05 MK.3 with AMRAAM and AIM-9L but it could have used AIM-9M so I expect it to receive those.
Yes I’d have it be the cheapest Tomcat because that’s what the RAF were looking for, the cheapest possible variant. So although the F-14B was offered, they would have wanted a second-hand F-14A as it was cheaper. But the F-14 wasn’t wired for Skyflash so it would essentially have the same missiles as the F-14B, but with the A2G ordinance of the F-14A (early).
I’ve started my F-14K post, not sure how long it will take, probably not too long, its a lot easier to research than ships and the BAE EAP.

I guess it might be Tomcat FG.1 (F-14A) & Tomcat FA2 but don’t know great britain interested Grumman F-14 from US Navy

CF-18 makes most sense
There is Canadian ADATS in ground tech tree and CF-18 would be one of more capable jets at top tier
It would be slower than F-16s but would make up for in AoA and A2G ordnance.
At least something before Eurofighters.
i think sa has been ruled out so cf18 is most likely if not domestic

To be fair, plans can change. This was a statement from over a year ago. In the current game state, I would personally be very surprised if the SAAF Gripen were added as anything but tech tree.
Hahaha, I had to put a lot of mental interest to be good at writing, I often pre-empt an argument which comes across as stand-offish, i had to write it as I wanted it, and now I am rewriting parts.
If i was to use and un-orthodox F-16AJ precedent for the F-14K what are the chance’s I would likely have to send my proposal to someone such as yourself for direct review and moderation?
Oh and to chip onto that I agree with you on the SAAF Gripen.
A suggestion for a British F-14 would constitute a fictional vehicle, so the suggestion wouldn’t be accepted no matter how well written it is. The addition of the F-16AJ doesn’t mean that similar vehicles meet our suggestion criteria.

Essentially it is okay for it to be suggested for the Japanese as it was an internal suggestion however it is not open for external proposals?
In that case is there a method of passing this over as a suggestion to one such individual who would be able to make such an internal suggestion?
If they have something else planned for uk f14 isn’t needed so it depends on them

I specify a fighter because as far as interceptors go, I’m sure the Tornado is one of the best in-game. Good payload and good avionics.
However Britain lacks a top tier ‘fighter’ which is what most people play Air RB for. The fact that we know Sweden is due Gripen, a fighter but when the UK is mentioned it becomes a top tier ‘jet’ makes me suspect its a Tornado or Harrier.
Furthermore when I asked Smin to clarify he didn’t state if it was a new airframe (Tornado or harrier improvement would not be a new airframe).
I hope for something that a harrier and a tornado is all we can do
It’s not an internal “suggestion” but an internal decision within the company, so not really. The best you can do is ask someone like smin about whether Gaijin would consider it, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one.
