They should leave the Mk10 at 9.0 and add a Mk11 at 9.3 foldered with the Mk10.
Just having TOGS isn’t worth a 0.3 BR increase. That’s literally the only difference between the Mk 10 and 11.
If you want to keep a BR 9.0 Chieftain Gaijin should:
- Drop the Khalid down to 9.0, it’s literally just a faster Mk 5. Also give it L15A5 as a top round.
- Add a Chieftain 5/4 at 9.0. Have L15A5 as the stock round and L23A1 as the top round. While it does have a better round than the Chieftain Mk 10 at 9.0 currently you lose the stillbrew of the Mk 10 and the .50 cal ranging gun of the Mk 5.
The Khalid and Mk 5/4 would also be asymmetrically balanced as the Khalid offers increased mobility while the Mk 5/4 offers firepower.
No thanks I don’t want to pay 60€ just to have a 9.0 Chieftain.
The Mk3/Mk5 is total garbage. Having heavy tank mobility without any of the armor is terrible.
They wouldn’t be balanced. The Khalid would be much better.
Thermals isn’t a big improvement but it’s better than not having them so if a Chieftain could be added at 9.3 it would be the Mk11 with L23A1 and thermals.
What about the object 279 bro? It’s only $800. Definitely looks cooler than anything the British has to offer, most importantly more bomb resistant than anything we see here bro
As a reminder Khalid doesn’t have L23A1. So you’re stuck with L15A3 (currently) or L15A5 (which I suggested). Mk 5/4 would have L23A1 which is far superior to either L15 round.
Mk 10 should have L23A1. L23 in game is fake and needs to be removed. It’s been bug reported.
Gaijin detests britian. all their trees are full of overtiers and horrible artificial nerfs like solid shot being ass and HESH being worse than useless.
Yea, I had my hesh vanish into space time continuum on a wiesel’s tow launcher
I have had very similar experiences. somehow gaijin managed to make HESH worse at it’s only job than HE.
Just finished grinding UK 9.3 (skipped Olifant and Khalid) and it was a pretty decent experience, not extremely good but not trash either. I guess it’s pretty balanced.
