BR maps

How often does Gaijin change the BR of the maps, like Jungle which is at most 7.7, I wanted to play in Jungle, Berlin, Ashriver in the toptier, why does this exist? Some will say it’s because of the size of the map, but in the current toptier there are already extremely small maps like Advance Over the Rhine.

I suggested something similar.

Remove BR limitation for Kuban, Berlin, Volokolamsk and Karelia

Those maps are limited to 6.7 and 7.7 but they are still good options for higher BRs probably up to 9.3. Right now much smaller and bad maps are open to all BRs so dont make any sense just limited those maps specially after the recent bad map changes and extremly poor map rotation. I prefer play those maps again than play a endless spam of Ardennes, Alaska and Severesk-13.

You can always play it in custom battles. Jungle is too open and too small for toptier, while Advance Over the Rhine is city map with a lot more obstacles, preventing sniping or easy cas spam.

I guess some of these maps got locked behind BR because players previously complained about them being part of certain BR range playlists, now players complaint about them NOT being part of certain BR range playlists…

Exactly, I made a list of the maps that appear in my matches, while there is a much larger number of maps that I hardly play.
