Why is a vehicle like the Type 90 at a br 0.3 above the ztz99-II when it is better in every single way except thermals and round. The Type 90 is INSANELY INSANELY INSANELY BROKEN in less than a full uptier the leopard 2a4 has to face the type 90 which is better in every single way. Better armor better gun better round better mobility. This is insane and br’s from 7.7 to top tier need decompression NOW.

ZTZ-99II has better armor, an extremely high penning round, better optics, and better thermals.
All Type 90 has is mobility and reload, that’s it. Type 90 is a Leopard 2A4 firing DM33 instead of DM23, that’s it. Identical gun, effectively identical armor. 0.7 BR difference.
Top BR is decompressed already. 7.7 was decompressed as well.
The most compressed ground BR remains 2.3.
If top decompression happened, Leo 2A4 and ZTZ99II would go up by the same amount Type 90 would.
I always get confused when people complain about the Type 90. I’ve played it and fought against it extensively. It’s a strong vehicle but it isn’t some game ruiner like people claim. The only thing that can ruin your game is your perspective.
I’ve definitely fought the Type 90 more than I’ve used it cause I got them in 2019 and it’s 2025 and I have 6 other tech trees in its BR range,
DM33 slightly faster Leopard 2A4 that has a faster reload… Type 90, oh and worse optics and turret traverse.
It’s good, it’s just not OP.
And if you didn’t know. This is all you need at toptier. If a vehicel has this its almost one of the best.

So Ariete AMV is meta to you? Better than BVM and T-90M cause it has mobility and reload?
Entire battle rating decompression because of a single vehicle? I would say it’s your problem. Fighting Type 90s is just point and click. The armor around the breech is non-existent, anything at its battle rating range can penetrate this place, which covers a greater area, the chassis armor is equivalent to the Leopard 2A4’s and on top of that, as already mentioned, worse and limiting gun handling, Type 90s can’t be really useful in hilly maps like El Alamein.
The amv doesn’t have exellent mobilty and good reload compared to type 90

Literally the same power to weight ratio, and 5 second reload firing DM53 which Type 90 does not fire.
