Yeah, no.
With current loadout and mm C models are fine where they are, unless you wanna give them Aim-9M and bump up to 13.0.

Basically all 12.7 and 12.3 currently are too low, but it’s a compression issue (same reason that the Mirage F1 is being discussed). I often say this, but 12.0-13.0 in itself should extend to 13.7 at least, with the premiums su30 going 14.0, and then top tier extending to about 16.0.
But gaijin is gaijin, and they just don’t want to decompress
That’s right, decompression would be a godsend for aircraft in the 12.0–13.0 range.
As for the premium SU, in my opinion, it’s better than the F-15C MSIP II (13.7), MiG-29SMT (13.3), and MiG-29KR (13.7), and yet it’s still at BR 13.3… Absurd.
The MiG-29KR seems even slower, even though it’s specified to have a more powerful engine? On top of that, the MiG-29 loses a lot of speed during maneuvers, while with the SU-30 you can do pirouettes and it maintains its speed nicely.
Keeping the premium SU-30 at BR 13.3 is downright criminal, and I’m writing this as the owner of one—it was my first fighter with ARH missiles, and it was with this plane that I learned to fight using those missiles. Yet my stats on it aren’t too bad—why? Because its BR is underrated, and it often fights against 12.3–13.3 fighters while effectively being at 13.7 itself ;)
PS:
P.S.: Yesterday I played a dozen or so battles with the Mirage F1C-200, and it was a blast. It’s a really good fighter, and once you know its strengths, you can cause quite a stir with it. I even got a few kills with the standard Matra R530 from the center pylon—even though it’s only 15G, you can really “stretch” it (the seeker has a wide field of view) before firing so it’s launched in the right direction. I even took down an F-5 that was making a sharp maneuver at 2.2 km—it was beautiful :)
not agreeing, because you’ve cut the argue that explains why F-18C’s are too low.
F-16A ADF prior to the addtion of AIM-120A, was a 12.7 aircraft with 2x AIM-7M and 4x AIM-9L → which is where all modern plateforms with AIM-7P and AIM-7M should be.
yet i understand that people are bad in average (mostly true for big nations like US or Russia) so the BR is given to this difference.
F-16 has superior fm, Fox-3 missiles and better dogfight performance compare to slow F-18 and do you think raising their br against better aircraft’s without enhancing their capabilities is fine?
They are already seeing Fox-3 lobbies constantly, you just admitted that you hate hornets and wants them to see suffer.
I’m pretty sure I’m better pilot than you.
They are both too low and stuck at 12.7 due to compression.
Ideally you would have stuff like the F4EJ Kai and Tornado F3 at 12.3. The F-18A at 12.7, F-18 (premiums) and F-15s at 13.0 if not higher. etc etc.
They ARE under BRed, half of what is at 12.0 shouldnt really be fighting them, let alone 11.7s.
Yes, so long as what is above also moves up.
READ AGAIN!
you’re may be a better pilot (i don’t care), but you’re cleary a bad reader (and i’m a bad writter)
Hey bro, thanks for showing me my stats, now if you would plz carefully read one of my comments, you would see that I said I was mainly picking up the mantle for all the newer players that are getting slaughtered in it.
Cheers.
Ps, how to check players stats from forums?
This is it.
So you don’t have to scroll
Have a good day gents.
Thanks for discussing this with me -opening my eyes beyond what I thought possible on this topic.
I really appreciate the chatting back and forth, and maybe some of us should squad up some time and rock some lobbies.
Good day gentlemen!
those that shouldn’t get high tier premium at level 1?
i mean, high tier jets are hard enough with the experience of lower tier.
there should be a bare minimum to get the access to high tier premium aircraft, in order to ensure a minimu of the so-called “learning curve”. (i’m not setting the requirement that high, but obtainning like 1 Free/TechTree Tier 3 aircraft to unlock Premium Jets from Rank 5 to 9, seems to be a good idea)
PS: check for third parties websites like thunderskill or statsshark
Fulcrum airframe seems more suited for low-medium altitude
The engines start to suffer around 7km or so iirc
And the airframe itself feels crappy above 5km
Flanker airframe feels much better at higher altitudes
Yeah not gonna happen chief, you and I both know that.
Thats why you cant increase their br without giving them better missiles.
This isn’t something special to Hornets.
8/10 times those planes will not fight with premium hornets.
12.3-12.7 gets sucked into 13.3-13.7 regularly due to compression around those brs.
The thing is that you statistically get more uptiers than downtiers at any given BR. That’s because you can only have 4 people of the top BR at any full uptiers. This makes it that for any full down tier only 4 people can benefit while 12 people see a full uptiers. So each time you get a full down tier you are likely to see 3 full uptiers. Ergo, from my experience, even with 11.3+ getting a vast majority of 13.3, 11.7 and 12.0 also see a majority of their games at 12.7-13.0
My personal experience with Swiss premium hornet is 8/10 times I get uptiered to fight at least 13.0’s, if I’m lucky ofc.
Most of the time I fight against premium Su-30’s with Aim-9L’s,7P’s with no HMD.
At least Swiss version has access the double amount of countermeasures and more powerful engines that can compensate the gap little bit more but other premium hornets are hopeless against any Su-30 player that has more than one braincell.
ir
3…?
What’s the R.530E? an IR missile
and it can be mounted on centerline pod alongside both Super 530F and 2x Magic-2’s,
missile so bad i forgot it
yet i still kill with it from time to time
i even make people thinks it’s a Magic-2 then they got surprised by the real one.
