In Air Realistic, an aircraft can face opponents up to 3 BR higher, which feels kinda dumb. For example, why should a MiG-29SMT be matched against a Su-30SM or even a Eurofighter?
Wouldn’t it make more sense to reduce the BR brackets from 3 to 1, since aircraft that are 2–3 BR higher are significantly stronger and leave little chance for the BR jets plane?

A 1 BR difference between 13.3 and 14.3 is very different from a 1 BR difference between 2.3 and 3.3.
I would rather have the qualifications for BRs be reevaluated, such as the weights for “statistics”, guns, top speed, climb, and turn performance.
For example, I’m of the opinion that prop BRs should not be affected much by guns, but for jets, equipping missiles should heavily affect BR rating, and if you opt to not equip certain or any missiles then your BR should be lowered.
Sorry, I was mainly talking about 12.0+. I don’t really play props, so I can’t speak on that. I will change the post to make it clear that I’m talking about 12.0+ again, sorry for the confusion.
I assume youre talking about reducing matchmaker spread from 1.0 BR to like 0.7 BR instead of straight up removing BR brackets.
If thats true, this is being discussed pernamently. do we really need another thread on this topic?
