I don’t understand why does bombs come stock with some planes, like Su-27SM, but not Su-27 and J-11.
These planes are downright horrible to play when stock, while many planes are, at least they get large ammo reserve to go after ground targets/even have stock bombs.
The Su-27 while it is good against uptiered players, is hopeless against uptiers, and thus, should be considered a bomber, a zombie plane if you will.
A lot of strike aircraft are like that. Seems like Gaijin doesn’t know what that first word means. It’s really fun being forced to play a plane that starts with literally only its guns and flies like a brick as a fighter.
Or better idea we improve bombing rewards for Strike aircraft and Bombers and greatly reduce rewards for Fighters, since otherwise whats the point in having them if they get outclassed by fighters at their only job.
This is not that correct tbh but yes in the long run , it is definitely better cause of the multiplier. But if you only get 1 kill then you still lose out to base bombing. Could be fixed by actually get good but considering OP. Yeah he basebomb in everything , even in good jet fighter
Maybe giving a stock bomb is better than ‘do nothing and let us rot in current mediocre stock modification’
BUT
We all know that giving better stock missiles are way better than giving stock bombs in fighter jets.
The real jets which need stock bomb improvements are ‘strike jets’ like
Tornado IDS (can’t kill base with 4 1000lb) or Jaguar (no bombs and missile, only 2x 30mm for shooting pillbox)
Not those fighter jets in rank 8, which have better missiles in stock than rank 7.
Maybe bombing on fighter in stock is a necessary evil in the current situation.
But what we need to focus on is making them better to fight in A2A, even in stock. not make them superior strike jet and let them teabagging the real one
OP, I want you to stop your morbid and rabid obsession with bombing with fighter jets.
How to solve this issue.
Fighters/interceptors using bombs = 0.2* for points on destroying and damaging base.
Strikers 1.2 -1.4* for points. ( Excluding strike eagle, etc etc. those goes straight to fighter category in air games.
Bombers 2* points for bombing bases and ground objects.
And Actually giving dedicated strikers / bombers closer spawn. so they can be played like that class should.
Now how correlate this on fighters/interceptors
Fighter/interceptor shooting down striker/bomber = 1.5* on points/rewards/SL
Giving rewards for playing “class” right should give more points and give serious penalty for fighters abusing speed and just bombing bases for easy SL/points should get “punishing”
And so a problem arises: Rank 6 attacker airspawn was removed because of aircraft like Su-7. You end up having fast attackers with capable performance vs fighters with a HUGE advantage at the start of games.
It’s wildly easy to pull off 2-3 or more kills per game.
I don’t think you speak for most of the air player but aight. Still , base bombing offer way easier way to grind and SL farming so people just ignore the core gameplay of ARB and pick the easy route to grind their favourite vehicle
tldr: Easier to grind with basebombing and people don’t want to learn how to dogfight. That the main issue
Still less of a problem compared team filled with zombies rushing on base in 5-7 mig 23’s etc ignoring every enemy in their path and wasting missile load for 2 napalms…
