just like tank, if the pilot dies then someone can replace his position and continue to fly until everyone die. this should be applied to all plane with 2 crew or more including twin seater jet fighter

Planes dont work like that ,you dont get the gunner trained as a pilot.

Afaik tankers don’t get trained on all stations either.
Although I guess, it is easier to figure out tank controls than those of an aircraft.
I am.fine with the current system though.

You will find quite a few do when it suits them.This game does reality as and when it feels like it.

many train in more than one position in a tank and we have NCO leadership courses in the UK and some NATO services so non officers can lead where as in many air services officers and the rank and file are separate. Either way I dont think the game needs a change here.

At least planes for like co-pilots and stuff yes. But some twin seat planes don’t have dual controls so it would be physically impossible to control the plane from the rear seat. I think it depends on the plane but for large crew bombers yes absolutely at least a co-pilot
