You’re using 12.7 mm ammo, it’s not going to do much against a bomber. At best set it on fire and then you’ll have to give it space and wait for the fire to take it out or if the fire goes out you re-engage to light it on fire again.

yes i know, but low tier planes have have mostly 12,7mm or 7.7mm and if they have 20mm its very limmited ammo thus multiple fires do nothing now… like Sunderland hydroplane sits at 1.7 BR in Air RB or F.222.2 they also start at high altitude making an attacker with good armament hard to climb to them to shot them down… bombers must be buffed compared to updates before but not immune to fires…

Not inherently, depends on what type of information and on what channel.
bombers are the one type of plane where 12.7mms are doing an accurate amount of damage.

Thank you for posting that video, it looks surprisingly similar to how bombers operate now.
We need this damage model intentionally extended to all heavy attack aircraft such as the XA-38, P-61, IL-2/8/10s, Su-6s, Ducks, Ki-109, FC.20bis, Bf-110/Me-210/Me-410s, He-219s, Ta-154s, etc.
But all single-engine fighters should remain glass. Bomber attacks should be dangerous, and in a game which grants all fighters 20-50x more shooting accuracy than in real life, bombers and attackers should intentionally be harder to kill than reality to compensate.

no problem with that, but in warthunder no fighter would survive spending so much time behind this bomber. its incredible how easy you set hunting fighters aflame even with single 7.7 caliber.
Well yes but why then they are immune to fires as in my video as well, historically bombers didn’t fall in 4 pieces as updates before to this, but being immune to fires is absurd… I set 2 fuel tanks on fire before going down and bomber fuel tank fires didn’t spread, it’s nonsense!!! Fires where deadly to bombers no matter what…!
Not only that, being immune to fires is nonsense, i flew premium DB-7 in British tech tree, it’s so tanky and doesn’t care about fires at all, thats the plane who shot down me in a video…
