Bomb load should be restricted to one base

I was flying the J-7D (which struggles with a 1500kg load) today, when a Q-5L speeding through, just stolen my base by bombing more than one base. Vast majority of bombing players does not do this, but gaijin forces the Q5 to carry four napalms, so they have enough for 2 bases and bombing only one would be disadvantageous for them.

There should be restriction that limit bomb load of about 1.5 bases, to accept for flexibility. (Because some bombs are so powerful that they have enough damage to take out multiple bases, but it’s like 5000KG bomb which only one can be carried).

Lots of players that does the behavior, are F111/Su24 (or 34), Q5, Tornado, A-10, SU-25 players. I don’t want to offend anyone, but just to point out this fact.

Fighter

Strike Aircraft

Gaijin should remove bomb loads that take a hardpoint a missile could be on for fighters

This might be the worst one yet

Well I’m trying to make a point. Why would it matter what vehicle I drive, even if in a “wrongthink” fashion?

You’re complaining about a strike aircraft “stealing your base” despite the fact that by bombing in a supersonic fighter you are stealing bases from other strike aircraft

You bought this base?

Why do you focus on the first part of the thread? I’m trying to make a point.

Sigh. Can you focus on my point instead of criticsm of my wrongthink gameplay?

Take me out of the equation for a second. It could be someone else in a strike planet that experienced what j just did.

It doesn’t change depending on the player, nobody here is special

If you’re bombing bases in a supersonic fighter then you are actively stealing them from slower strike aircraft who don’t actually have a chance in the air to air role

Assuming you’re using Newspeak, it’s actually “Crimethink”, wrongthink doesn’t exist, gah minilove please get this thought criminal out of here

Comment to the point. Considering what has been stated in bomber thread, I don’t have to repeat.

My point wasn’t about strike or fighter planes. It was about planes taking more than one base (sometimes forced by gaijin like q5 forced to take four napalms)

Im flying the SB2C and a B7A2 just killed two bombers instead of one, does that mean he should have his airspawn revoked?

I’m not qualified enough to answer this. I’ll leave this to prop fans with 500 battles in every of these “bombers” to judge.

Its pretty much the same situation at a lower tier, you’re qualified to answer it

It’s a hot and controversial topic.

But if you insist I guess they should get a striker spawn.

this is the F4S prem spam bringing bombs instead of what fighters should bring issue all over again but with a J7D

Edit: Ontop of that, you need iirc 4 500kg bombs to take down a base, the J7D don’t even got enough bomb load to take out 1 base with 2 500kg and 2 250kg

No, bomb load should NOT be restricted to base.

Why?

  1. Weapon loadouts are the same across ARB, AAB and ASB. In ASB, having bombload greater than one base manfiests as a legitimate need for multiple purposes:
    1. You’re in a slow bomber. You spend 10 minutes reaching the bases so you drop to destroy 1 base. You loiter 5 minutes, get the UA cycle pop-up and drop bombs to destroy a second base then fly back to base.
If you dropped and immediately flew back, it’s possible to get a UA cycle where you earned zero score (15 minutes of flying without a chance to drop a bomb that line up with a UA cycle) leading to no rewards at all.
    2. You destroyed a base but there’s a push/groundbattle/arrow. You drop your bombs on a base then divert to the frontline to blow up some tanks/SPAA before returning to base, significantly increasing your contribution to your team in pursuit of victory.
  2. Battle ratings scale base hit points and you cannot reliably confirm battle ratings in RB. What might be enough for 1 base and extra in a downtier might be insufficient in an uptier.

It’s not a issue because teams are randomized with no nations based.

in theory that would mean two of the teams get equally affected by “bad players” on a statistical basis.

Compare this to ground battles or tier 5 (and below) where we can see clear differences in national WR.

Besides, I’m afraid lots of people complaining about “bad players” doesn’t have best intentions. Some of them call more skilled players tryhards and stuff, while in the same time dunking on “inferiors”. It’s just hatred that’s disguised as concern for the health of the game

LOL, maybe try not bombing in a fighter then? A really good fighter I might add.
