Unlikely it ever used APSFDS shells, but that doesnt mean it cant be moved up to 11.7/12.0
i mean why not ? with out APSFDS belt it will be useless in toptier but still powerful in 10.7. if we want to move it up better to give it the new belt and move it up to 12
It is still quite useful in top tier. Every MBT can be killed frontally by the misiles. And even on the sides the apds can pen them.
It can go to 12.0 rn without APFSDS
NATO tanks of those tiers are just as squishy. I see plenty of bmpt in top tier matches doing just as well. They, and many other soviet light tanks (bmp2 and 2s38) can fire so fast they can disable your gun/crew/vehicle before you can react or get sights on them. Another problem with the BMPT is kill shots are not predictable…you can one shot a spot in one game and the next has no effect or takes multiple shots…and before the intellectually devoid…“/skill issue”

It’s easier to kill a t-90 than a BMPT. I think this says alot about where this abomination can go.

Yeah at the cost of bending over 11.0-12.7 and giving it the oil up treatment.
there are many things in 12BR to kill the BMPT and many tanks have better shells and better armor
Go to the BMPT and try the armor analysis test with the german Dm53, then tell me if this tank should go to 12.7 or not.

Autocanons are always very strong.
They are normally balanced by the vehicles with them being fairly easy to kill. At the moment the BMPT has suffecient firepower to kill pretty much any non-soviet MBT easily with ATGM or just APDS but are practically impossible for anything below 11.0 to kill in most situations.

im saying it should get uptier. but the dev not gonna give it uptier because it gonna look useless for players and they cant make money out of it so we gonna add new belt to it and send it to 12 or 12,7

Agree. It should have NEVER been released in this state, but then again we had the PUMA, bmp2, and 2s38 debacles.
If only it got its right armor stats and spikes now. Now it’s getting shit on by the terminators.
