I started a similar thread. And don’t listen to those who say the Terminator is on its BR; they just pre-ordered these Terminators and are waiting to destroy entire hordes of Strikers, Pumas, Desert Foxes, etc.

It’s doubtful that it has better armor than the Abrams. That’s doubtful.

Its a soviet IFV. Of course its OP, they all are. There isnt a single soviet IFV/AFV type vehicle that couldnt have its BR increased by 0.7-1.0 and it still would be one of the stronger options at the new BR.
BMPs, 2S38 and now BMPT. They are all under BRed

2s38, BMP2s perhaps, BMPT is just a considerably worse BMP2M. A few 40mm rounds into the center of the turret, or a dart from a higher caliber gun, and it cooks. Been killing it off with machine guns too. Sure, there’s armour around the crew, but that matters very little when it can’t fight back, and the armour is not adequate enough to protect the turret bound crew from rounds even below the rating.
Unless they decide to equip it with kornets and apfsds, the rating is fine for it, having played it and played against it on dev.

8 shots is still not great. It’s on par with the BMP-2M, which is much faster and more agile. Doesn’t have APFSDS like the BMP-2M, and is a much larger target.
Like I’ve said on other threads 10.3 is not right, but the right isn’t far off, 10.7 or 11.0 max really.

Quite easily I think, Id say BMP1 is easily 8.7 material compared to comprable vehicles Bradley, Warrior MILAN, etc
and the BMP-2 is definetly better than IFVs like the Desert Warrior. Could easily be 10.3 or 10.7 and it would abrely touch it .
BMP-2M equally outperform most at that BR
2S38 is easily 11.3 material>
75% of the soviet TT could easily have its BR increased by at least 0.7 and it would barely change a thing.

not saying the desert warrior is any good

Then drop the BR of everything else down then. Last time I tried to play that BR, they just dominated. Like all soviet IFV/AFVs do

Kinda funny OP is wondering what a Puma can do against a BMPT like the 2A42 30mm APDS is so much better into the front of a Puma. They can only really knock out each other by shooting into the turrets.
Or the BMPT can knock out the Pumas engine and… reverse away?
