they definitely won’t, makes more sense to be in ussr tree since they already have algerian skins on aircraft like su24m and algeria uses soviet vehicles

I know this is slightly off-topic but I found this Ukrainian BMPT-62 looking tank, though the turret isn’t a bmp2m turret I can’t seem to identify it

I disagree. I have enough PTSD from the normal BMPT-72 and its other variants and adding another might be the straw that breaks the camels back

Just because it has a similar name doesn’t make it similar to the BMPT-72. This would be absurdly easy to kill. It isn’t even related at all to the Russian one.

Its a nickname
Because of its similar role. It does the same job as the BMPT, but is in no way related to it. People just call it that because it is an easy reference point for understanding the vehicle and its position on the battlefield.
