for the longest time now whenever there is 1 person left in air RB everyone rushes to activate the blind hunt or avenger orders so the last enemy gets spotted.
i believe this should be removed as the order is called BLIND hunt, not Spotted hunt same with the avenger medal, this should not spot the last person alive but reward you wil extra rewards if you manage to kill.
this would make sneaky gameplay much more fun and rewarding.
people who can work their radars correctly shouldnt have is problem finding and killing the last person
There are allegedly aircraft without radar in the game…
Experienced players block blind hunt / avenger orders up to 10 minutes by activating two 5 minute orders (like anti-mech, anti air) in a row; the red square still gives indicators where they are…
true, but this shouldnt have to be the case, like i said its called blind hunt but it aint blind at all, its the only gamemode that allows that to happen as far as i know,
yes there is, then the red qquare as you mentioned will lead them in the right direction, there is no reason whatsoever that those orders should let the name of the last enemy show up continue to get a easy kill, and people who cant handle is in my opinion should go to arcade battles
You mean when the game “ended” (6vs1) with 15 mins until the end ? I guess that you don’t play low rank air battles ( prop br)
If you don’t want to be spotted… you can leave the match and it’ll end.
Or you can activate them near the beginning of the match for tactical reasons.
how about when the game is still winnable, like a 1v1, or a 1v3, or 2v4 with 2 of those 4 being bombers? hell, what about surviving in an Arado, Canberra or Vautour and wanting to gain a bit more score before the enemy finds and kills you?
the situations where someone is deliberately dragging out the clock instead of fighting do not justify legalized wallhacks
Games are winnable also if playing 1 vs 6 , it depends on skill and used aircraft. But mainly on the skill level of the remaining enemies - if they work coordinated and have some experience it gets tricky.
Imho you might consider changing your approach whilst playing wt.
Try to replace
“…before the enemy finds and kill you?”
with
“before you find one of them and kill him”.
This won’t work with unarmed bombers.
Playing just for mission score (like with the current event) creates way more selfish game gameplay than usual.
Dragging out matches make sense if you play Air RB, have already scored and can use either skill or af aaa. Most people have not realized that the majority of RP income is related to match time.
I played the game long before we had the red square - and you simply underestimate the patience level of most players.
So blind hunt & avenger orders limit SL & RP income of players as the culminated “loss” of additional SL/RP for the rest of a team is higher (when the match duration is shorter) than the SL/RP gain of the single player killing the last enemy.
That is the main reason why players and gaijin like both orders.
I agree with the thread starter. If you want to call it realistic, there should not be a magic scroll around.
i wholeheartedly agree, its why i’m arguing aggaisnt blind hunt and avenger ignoring spotting mechanics, i’ve personally spectated players actually forming a combat air patrol strategy when they can’t just abuse these orders to find the last targets.
i’ve specifically mentionned these three, because : the Ar.234 B-2, Canberra B.2, B-57A, and Vautour B ; are all unarmed, and its unfair to the ones that do sneak back into the battlefield to bomb bases or ground forces that their cover is blown through no effort or skill on the part of the players hunting them.
…and that right there is what baffles me the most, in a game mode where players have to take several minutes to take-off and/or fly into the battlefield, that their patience is so low that they can’t bother to mount a search, or an ambush, or even go take out the ground troops
yep, 100% using blind hunt to cover for a skill issue makes the game 100x worse
