BI-1 Is Pay-to-Win and needs to be dealt with

its more balanced than it was but its still just a better 109f4 (just now without airspawn) so its still above average

I find it weird how so many people cite “it doesn’t turn like a spitfire/zero” like… evidence that a plane isn’t strong.

and the ability to just space-climb at will ignored so often (even though it’s kind of the main thing making the Bf 109 K-4 5.7 while the Bf 109 F-4 is 4.0 despite the F-4 turning better than K-4.)

It’s good, but I think it compresses a bit more than F4.
I mean, I’m not sure about that. F4 overheats like crazy so yeah, overal XP-50 is slightly better.
But both get roflstomped by Pay2winnin’s Yak-3 at 4.0

I mean, it turns better sustained, it just has a bit worse instantenous turn at certain speeds.
But it can pull 12G while gaining speed AND climbing.

Generally, I’ve never managed to outturn this thing either way.

Tbh I dont have that big of a Problem with the BI-1 and I have never been shot down by one which is crazy considering I am already playing a few thousend hours.
To be fair I havent been playing that much in this BR range but I have still played a decent bit of 5.7-7.7.
The BI-1 is a very greate plane and maybe a bit under BR’d but i wouldnt move it that much considering its not a plane that will kill you every consecutiv match.

Its not that common in ARB,but its the only useful plane for 6.7-7.3 SQB which is the only competetive mode WT have.

BI was the bane of my existence when I played 6.7-7.0. Literally the only thing I had absolutely no way to deal with in A2D, my best bet was run at over 700 and bait him to go even faster.and dive.

According to your twisted opinion, the BI isn’t an OP aircraft; Meanwhile, the Me 163 B has a BR of 8.0, whilst your precious Russian OP aircraft has a BR of 6.7… A fine example of balance… Nobody here likes hypocrisy, so why don’t you do everyone a favour and admit that it’s pay-to-win?

crazy how many people left the XP-50 to rot after they needed even 1 braincell to use.
I still respect XP-50s because I know the sucker that still plays was also the one that had the skills to win battles all alone back when it had an airspawn.

I mean, I went straight for my Yak-3 once XP-50 got nerfed, I’m not going to struggle vs OP aircraft.

That’s why I don’t fly things like Mc 202D.
Yeah, nice plane, at same BR as F4U1A which is better in EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE.

Generally, this is a funny thing. In WT OP planes can stay OP for goddamn years before anything changes.

But it is there already. facing stuff at 7,3/7,7 that outspeeds it ripspeed by 100-200 km/h and have acceptable acceleration. For a proper balance we need decompression for all BR areas that leads to top BR is somehwere between 20-25 but GJ will never do so
