And it has a climb rate of ~35 meters per second at 50% throttle, ~3 - 5 meters per second more than P51H5NA.

P-59 does deserve 5.7 imo.
It’s pretty easy to counter since you almost always meet it below you
and of course, it accelerates like a jet (slowly)
The P-59A is 5.7

Comparison:
P-59A equally as good in its own pros as the BI.
BI is 6.7
P-59A is 5.7 (should really be 6.0 / 6.3)
One has 3x more ammo that the other and can turn way harder. Both can hold a sustained turn with ease.
The hypocrisy that one is too good but not the other is amazing

why does bi have 4 times the kd then?
I consider less than 2.6 kills per battle in a fighter “kind of a failure”, and such KPB usually goes with relatively good KD. I have a suicidial playstyle, but 5.0 K/D is a norm, 6.0 and higher in planes I really enjoy and do REALLY good with (unfortunately, Ta-152H has left this club, no fun nowadays). So for me 4.0 is “meh”.
I do better in Do-335 B2 than that and I just fly straight and shoot people with 30mm HVAP.
The point is, if I encounter 2 decently smart players in 5.7 fighter props, I’m toast in P-59A. It’s great, but it has no acceleration and horrible climb and it will lose every head on due to huge size and very limited armanent.
Meanwhile BI can clown on entire teams.

your average global kd is 0.6 but it is 2 in the bi. 333% increase is due to the plane being overpowered.
