Have you ever considered those stats are bad because the USA player base isn’t very good on average?
This was my first post, criticizing the endurance of the BI in air RB.
This is from the perspective of exclusively facing them, many didn’t die until they were forced into a multi-player engagement.
This was never a dismissal of it being strong, as I’ve stated previously on many platforms that it’s strong.
The BI is strong, which @Leinadmix9_ツ and others will agree with me on.
Now, whether it’s OP in the context of a team based match… that’s the discussion.
From my study, from how I understand team play, endurance matters a lot.
Ease of play also matters.
A BI as a platform will do fine at 6.7 alongside P51H and Spitfire.
However, at 7.3 there are jets that are better: MB326K, F2H, and Sea Meteor are notably better aircraft for air RB.
7.0 might have a few things as well, but I haven’t checked.

BI-1 can cover a lot of distance on just 10 and 30 % throttle.
and a pretty big chunk of those will agree: “BI-1 is not 6.7 material.”

I never mentioned 100% throttle, I responded to posts that talked about it, but I didn’t mention it.
I only ever addressed the entire upper half of throttle.
you should watch this for your own education, literally cruising around at 18% throttle

how much does the fuel last even at 50%?
I have barely played P-59A as its LF Mk IX with speed instead of the climb and US 5.7 teams are braindead. But if it’s overperforming, I’m fine with moving it higher. I certainly wasn’t doing great in it, because I’m more of 1 and done kind of guy, not “sustained dogfight enthusiast”.
