Yeah I want you to go around and tell people mk108s are better than shvaks and see how they respond. I have 70% winrate and 3 kills to every death in yak3 and I don’t have friends to squad with to inflate my results.

I feel engagement distances peak a little a round superprops and the come down , so early jets pull the trigger a little later since they’ll be catching to their ww2 era rounds in some cases.

BI is mostly used on SQB’s and it’s a monster there. Also even for ARB with reduced throttle BI can still outmaneuver EVERYTHING it can face, still it’s not a dogfighter, you go in the space and boom/zoom enemies.
the problem is that the BI needs some aim and more than two working neurons
most aircraft that fall into this category are very op due to how players fuck up playing them all the time and just die to the first enemy they see

BI is much faster but less fuel, KI-200 / ME 163 are much slower but has more fuel - Speed/Sustain trade-off
BI has less ammo, bc smaller, lighter and faster, Me-163B-0/Ki-200 are bigger, slower and has more ammo. that’s why 0.3 BR higher is fair, bc ammo is more crucial is this case.

Shvak on Yak-3e alone is more armanent tham Bf 109 K4 has at 5.7
MG is just a cherry on top. Yak3e has no business being anywhere else but 4.7
Same applies to normal Yak-3. The fact 1 has slightly less armanent doesn’t matter, as both can dismantle a Bf 109 by hitting 1 20mm shell to the wing.
True, at 7.3 it would still deny the enemy any chance of dogfighting and it would still outclimb, outturn and out-energy everything
Yeah, essentialy BI can run 40% (which is enough power to outperform anyone else AND outturn them) for like 10m straight. At 20% it has fuel for more than the match lasts.
The trick to have super good performance at 40%?
Use up at least 40% of fuel.
People act like this plane needs full power to turn well.
Once it drops 40-50% of fuel, it needs way more to turn crazy-good, and at 1m of fuel left, it can still happily last till the match ends.
you dont even need the 20 mm you can onetap most enemys with only one of the two 50cals on the yak3
so there is no point for the yak3(e) [basically a yak3 at 4.0 which performs slightly better (you wont notice it) and has one less OP gun (you also wont notice this) ] to be this low
