It’s also like that at very low tiers when you have no big calibers and get uptiered with planes that have big calibers, except at very low tiers the pain doesn’t last very long while above 6.0 the grind is loooooong
I main France though so life isn’t really tough for me
The one thing I’d like to agree on lol, especially if you know how to MEC. Practically better than the Yak-3u slightly
Just crew lock cycle
J-26 isn’t a P-51C - it is a P-51D-20.
“the other one” is French - and I see it a lot - it was a BP vehicle pretty easy to get so there’s a lot of them around.
He probably meant the David one, it’s the one without the late-war tracer belts.
Edit:
yak-3u is as good, but both are OP for 5.7
Ah - yeah probably, but it is actually a B :)

2 serviceable B’s were interned during the war.
Love its camouflage, hate how it has no late-war belts. Probably the only P51B/C I dislike (I don’t have the french nor the chinese one though, but I reckon they’re the same with belts.)
Bf 109 is like a german Yak-3
Fw 190 is good but has bad turning rate and can be easily destroyed by everything.
also don’t compare Japan with Germany, dude.
i played Japan for a while and their planes are just too op, something obvious knowing that they can turn asf and the cannons are very good, with just a few planes that are quiet slow and are bad by that
i got a lot of kills with the 109, but with the 190? nah, too bad turning, if u don’t kill the enemy in the first pass and don’t climb, u’re dead.
the Ta 152 H is very good too, but u need to be at high altitude cuz there’s where the engine works very very well, but it’s at 6.0, so u can face early jets with better guns and better rate of ascension, not like the 109 K-4, that can face 6.7 planes, with probably just the me 262 with the 50mm that u can face in public matches
For a time the 109’s were arguably the best props.
i was dogfighting a sim player in ARB in my spit FR MKXIVe (dogshit plane), he was flying a bf109 k4. We merge and because i bleed speed like a truck i instantly get position only for the shitsparkos to fail me, and the guy does this freak ass maneouver, almost looked like he spun out but nah, he just used his little macro to go full real to try and get a shot, i promptly noped out of there.
I think it illustrates your point about the instructor really well, happens at like 19:00 roughly

It’s only semi recently that I have started hearing people say that the 109s AREN’T the best anymore. I don’t think anything changed but people’s perception, and I don’t know why their perception changed.
I agree with you, although I am also confident something was done to them nerf wise.
Then find the evidence because it is all available if one desires. All changes are public either through release notes or by patch datamining by gzabi and the like
I dont really care too much.
Just saying 109’s were dominating for a long period.
Have you tried using the flaps with the 190 during combat situations to say it can’t turn? Flap gameplay is an incredibly crucial part of playing the 190, you literally lose half of your combat capability if you lose the flaps. Hell, the engine power is strong enough for flaps to increase your sustained turn rate.
Good to know, I’ll keep that in mind when I’ll grind Germany
More information about the flaps: The take-off flaps already give some nice maneuverability buff to your planes without much loss of speed and only rip at 800 km/h. This is what I call the “soft flap” and can be used in extended combat situations to lose less speed while still keeping some maneuverability. The landing flaps on the other hand make you turn incredibly well, like almost Spitfire-level of turning, but they’re extremely fragile, ripping at 320 km/h, so you have to put great care into switching it on and off when you’re going above the speed limit. This is what I call the “hard flap” and should be used more in maneuvers, extended turning fights (only do turning fights with planes that are not particularly good extended turners) or whenever you’re confident that you can put your guns on the target (since your firepower can make you easily one-shot planes or to critically injure them once you hit them).
And for Fw 190s that I can recommend flying are (and I’d say are actually viable in the current meta): A-1, A-8/F-8 and all the Dora variants (they each have different strengths). For any Fw 190 that’s not the A-8/F-8, make sure to side climb at the start of the match, because you need altitude at all cost and you’re not a particularly good climber.
