The constant uptier at some BRs is universal pain
From my pov the reversal of flight model changes of any aircraft depend on 2 factors:
- Significant player feedback from the right people in the right forum
- Economic impacts of changes vs open or sub-concious bias
How?
If you dig deep enough in the rabbit hole of actual player impact on gaijin you find a lot of indicators that the Russian forum has some kind of power / influence - and can change some things if the right amount of long term players supports changes / requests / bug reports.
In addition you might agree that the BR range of German props already covers the sweet spot of the German Ground / Tank TT. If we have a common understanding that SB modes and Air RB are way less important than Ground warfare (and Air AB is way more popular than Air RB and Air SB) it seems obvious that German props will be used no matter how bad they might behave - they will be used in Ground RB doing way less sophisticated tasks.
Regarding bias: No matter of open or sub-conscious - as long as devs come from the former USSR you have to consider that almost everybody there lost ancestors in WW 2; there are still claims that the actual human casualties were close to 40 million (and not 26) and the “Great Patriotic War” is still a thing there - so it would be close to a miracle if there would not be any kind of bias.

German 6.0 to 8.0 is constant uptier
Play 100 matches in row and 60 will be full uptier ,20 will be partial uptier and 20 you will get bombed or shot down by AIM 9 or radar SPAA
It’s also like that at very low tiers when you have no big calibers and get uptiered with planes that have big calibers, except at very low tiers the pain doesn’t last very long while above 6.0 the grind is loooooong
I main France though so life isn’t really tough for me
The one thing I’d like to agree on lol, especially if you know how to MEC. Practically better than the Yak-3u slightly

“the other one” is French - and I see it a lot - it was a BP vehicle pretty easy to get so there’s a lot of them around.
He probably meant the David one, it’s the one without the late-war tracer belts.

Love its camouflage, hate how it has no late-war belts. Probably the only P51B/C I dislike (I don’t have the french nor the chinese one though, but I reckon they’re the same with belts.)
Bf 109 is like a german Yak-3
Fw 190 is good but has bad turning rate and can be easily destroyed by everything.
also don’t compare Japan with Germany, dude.
i played Japan for a while and their planes are just too op, something obvious knowing that they can turn asf and the cannons are very good, with just a few planes that are quiet slow and are bad by that
i got a lot of kills with the 109, but with the 190? nah, too bad turning, if u don’t kill the enemy in the first pass and don’t climb, u’re dead.
the Ta 152 H is very good too, but u need to be at high altitude cuz there’s where the engine works very very well, but it’s at 6.0, so u can face early jets with better guns and better rate of ascension, not like the 109 K-4, that can face 6.7 planes, with probably just the me 262 with the 50mm that u can face in public matches
For a time the 109’s were arguably the best props.
i was dogfighting a sim player in ARB in my spit FR MKXIVe (dogshit plane), he was flying a bf109 k4. We merge and because i bleed speed like a truck i instantly get position only for the shitsparkos to fail me, and the guy does this freak ass maneouver, almost looked like he spun out but nah, he just used his little macro to go full real to try and get a shot, i promptly noped out of there.

It’s only semi recently that I have started hearing people say that the 109s AREN’T the best anymore. I don’t think anything changed but people’s perception, and I don’t know why their perception changed.
I agree with you, although I am also confident something was done to them nerf wise.
Then find the evidence because it is all available if one desires. All changes are public either through release notes or by patch datamining by gzabi and the like
