Bf109s and FW190s are the worst experience i've had in this game

its a stellar plane but your team dies so fast youre stuck flying high and not doing much

My assumption is to prevent people entering unrecoverable stall & spins because 109s (especially G and K models while WEPing) are quite prone to departing controlled flight unless using appropriate rudder. However, I do feel even at 14.00 AOA (out of the 17.2 true limit) it should be safe for mouse aim.

Might be the reason.

finally the “types of WT players” short-format videos are true, the astronaut player exists

yeah I’d rather not play like this so I shelved it after maybe 5-10 games, and quickly moved on to the he162/me262

I completely agree—the MG131 is a pea shooter.

Instructor limits are almost always less than critical AoA limits on planes.

Spitfire, G.55S etc all end up benefitting from sim controls vs RB limits. It’s prevalent enough that SB controls are banned in RB tournaments after 10 years.

Climbs worse than 4.3 G.55 S0, which is already not the best climber at 4.3
If Ta had a single Shvak with 200 rounds, it would be a lot better armed than it currently is, as range ans ballistics matter a lot.

And 30mm can just randomly deal superficial damage for no reason whatsoever.

Didn’t happen to me till now.

Except for the 30mm, german cannons have nice ballistics.

MG151/20 has the worst ballistics among 20mm and it’s not even close, because most 20mms have absolutely fantasy drag coefficients

The MK 103, yes.
But MK 108 and MG 151/20 have the worst ballistics out of any cannon.

Never happened to me in the Fw 190A-1/F-8, just like also Bf 109s.

By “never happened” you mean you never noticed? Well, it’s a fact.
You also did not notice Ta-152H being bad at climbing, and it is pretty damn bad compared to all other 5.7-6.0 fighters, with sole exception of He-162.
It would have a good climb if it was 4.0, still nothing special, though.
What used to save Ta was airspawn and armanent. Then armanent advantage went away. And now we see airspawn advantage disappearing too.

I mean i have used german 20mms all my life and i never had to spend half of my magazine for killing 1 simple target, they’re very accurate and destructive if u know how to aim with them.

J7W1 in non-japanese enthusiast words be like:

Tho i feel it’s amazing for 6.0

Sadly they arent banned, all they did was to restart the TRIM values when you switch to RB controls.
Everyone can still abuse SB in tss

Well that is unfortnite.

But still significantly worse than other 20mms so what’s the point here?

His point is essentialy: you suck and I am so great I don’t even notice my shells take a lot longer to reach target, as my premonition is a topic of folk songs and legends, so the problem exists only for absolute peasants.
In other words - a typical 55-60% WR player doing the talking. I’ve seen this happen over, and over and over and over again. It’s essentialy a form of “virtue signaling”, only his “virtue” is “not having the problem”.
Of course he still very much has the problem as hes clearly not cleaning out entire lobbies, so apparently he misses A LOT and there are plenty of shots he doesn’t even try taking, that would be absolutely possible with other 20mm cannons.
Also, even if one can hit insane snap shots to get out of ihard situations - imagine you’re in Bf 109 K4 vs Yak-3U. You do some kind of stall maneuver, get a split second firing opportunity, land 3 shells - oh sorry, it’s AP-I and APHE and HEI now Yak’s wing is slightly yellow, and HEI hits the armored windshield or just behind the pilot and effectively does nothing as red fuselage has like 0 impact on Yak-3U’s handling (I mean, this thing can pull for stall shots even while missing 1 wing, so go figure). Get rekt, nooblord, I guess?

I’ve been recently taught how to permaWEP the 109 F-4 up to 320 km/h IAS.

57% prop pitch, 45% radiators.

I got curious how it affects power (test is turning left-hand on deck with 0 angle of slip at 15 degrees of Angle of attack):

(The big HP drop is when my engine started flashing red from WEPing on auto engine controls, so I changed over to default 50% pp and 50% rad then adjusted to 57% pp and 45% rads)

Prolly useless in most ARB and ASB situations (you lose 100 horse power doing it, but it’s still higher than the 1170ish you get with 100% throttle over WEP) but might come in clutch for occasional 1 vs 1 that develop at the end.

I just adjust RPM based off temperature and speed. Works fine, just can’t be done during dogfights. But for those without RPM indicator, yeah, this is gold.
