I would like to suggest the Bf 110 G-4 which was test fitted with 1 or 2 20/30 mm Mg 213C.

The Mg 213C was a late war development in form of a Revolver cannon, which followed the requirements of the 1000x1000 Gun.
The 1000x1000 requirement were a gun with a fire rate of at least 1000 rpm and 1000 m/s, which were successfully reached and even topped with the 20mm Mg 213C, which after the war also was pretty much directly copied over by the allies in form of Aden, Defa, M39 and more.

The gun was to be universally usable as fixed armarment against Ground targets, Fighters and Bombers from great range, while working reliably under heavy G forces and great height.

Developed by Mauser, however only 10 could be produced and were test fitted into a Bf 110 (Most likely G-4) and a Ta 152 Prototype. It was to replace the Mg 151/20 and later on the Mk 108, as it could also change the barrle between 20 and 30mm, where it fired a 20x135mm round (Same shells as Flaks 20x138mm) and 30x85mm (same shells as Mk 108)

There are sadly no surviving pictures, however if there was, the internally mounted gun wouldnt be visible.

Into the Bf 110 (most likely G-4) the 2x Mg 151/20 were replaced by either 1x Mg 213C with 400 rounds or 2x Mg 213C with 200 rounds each.

Ingame it would would offer a improved armarment version to the allready in game G-4, with 1-2 20 or 30mm (Changable via modification) Mg 213C, which would be Allround and effective against Air and Ground with the 20mm barrle, or highly effective against unarmored and airtragets with the 30mm barrles, along the standart armarment of 2x Mk 108s allready found in the nose.

The Guns:
1-2x 20mm With 980 - 1050 m/s (148g Ap and 120g He) and a fire rate of 1200-1400 rpm
Or
1-2x 30mm with 530m/s (same ammo as Mk 108) and a fire rate of 1000-1200 rpm
And the normal armarment of
2x Mk 108 (255 rounds)
2x Mg FF/M in Schräge Musik
1x Mg 81Z Gunner.
And bombs.

read about this gun years ago. Seems very powerful for ww2 and would be nice to see although ammo management would be hard

good suggestion, the gun itself is worth the addition simply because of it’s Forgotten influence

when M39, ADEN, DEFA and to an extent BK27 are based on it I believe it should be introduced

This would be crazy powerful, and it’d be really fun to be able to switch between 20mm and 30mm in the hangar as a modification. +1
