Going off by March 2026 data, they both hold substantially higher KpD over other 13.3s. Yes, even MKK, a premium, meaning more accesible by some of the most dumbest people on this planet, has KpD of 1.38. J-11A holds KpD of 1.45.

The KpD of those supposedly superior planes? Again, March 2026 data:

US ADF - 1.16
Italian ADF- 1.16
Chinese ADF - 1.22
MiG-29N - 1.03
MiG-29SMT - 1.04
JF-17 - 0.91

Now call me sussy baka but that does seem that the inferior J-11A and MKK somehow perform better than those planes with better radar and relatively better FMs. And all of them beside JF-17 being TT meaning they can be only accessed by people who have actually played the game. What coud possibly be reason?

Truly a question for some of the greatest thinkers out there. We may never know what exact part of their kit constitutes for such stats.

I wouldn’t at all say it’s sufficient for its BR, it’s a horrible radar even for 12.7 standards

Missile capacity doesn’t mean much when there’s no world in which you’d be using R-73s to out-spam an aircraft that does its best at ~10km.

what even is your argument here?

MKK has 6x ARHs on top of 4x IRCCM IRs to fall back onto or switch to if situation calls for it. Thast 10 total missiles vs. 6 total missiles when compared to its contemporaries other than J-11A.

I’d rather take those extra AIM-120s, and their range.

you give up any IR missiles by taking extra ARHs tho, which undeniably limits your tactical options. J-11A/MKK can carry 6x ARHs on top of 4x IRCCM - something even F-15C MSIP cant do.

well no. Since Pl-12s outrange SMT.You jsut said you prefer AIM-120s to their range, same logic needs to apply then here - PL-12s outrange R77, thus they have advantage.

F-18C early has THE best mechanical radar at 12.7. F-2A ADTW has AESA radar at 13.0.

Considering the best 13.7 aircraft which also used to be meta in TSS had this radar, I think it’s very much a usable radar, obviously not the best, but for a skilled player it has all you need to do well.

Even has NCTR now which is something not many vehicles have at that br

MKK is by far the most broken premium besides the MKM for Russia as Venezuela.

Keep in mind the Su-34, a heavier, less maneuverable strike fighter carries less ARH’s and good missiles, and has no monocle HMS. It’s at a higher BR than the Su-30’s…

It carries 2 more R-77’s, for the rest it has no upsides besides better radar and cas (and more ET’s?)
