Only way I see this as being useful is if they give it the drone scouting system. I doubt they’ll give it the door guns

They already have the ai for gunners, they could easily add door guns to all choppers that had them

Or they could do the same as the MH-60 door guns where they face forward and are pilot controlled

Does this have rocket computer?
Not explicitly stated anywhere, although it does use the same mission computer with allegedly identical software as the AH-1Z. It doesn’t seem to have a HUD, but the TopOwl HMS is stated to provide “Operational applications of navigation, target designation, and weapons aiming and firing” (I suppose “weapons aiming and firing” also implicitly suggests that there exists ballistic computer functionality).

actually I put in a bug report for that apparently they are permanently fixed forward on it (not a door gunner)

I can understand that being the case for the Blackhawk we have ingame, but other variants of the Blackhawk would definitely have non-fixed guns, whether they be the M-60s, M2s or M134s.
And you know what would be the perfect gamemode for it?

i would love this helo to get added.
but its weapon loadout is SUPER limited compared to most helos.
IT NEEDs the AGR-20C (Laser guided M247 heat rockets) and AGR-20A(PF) also knows as the AGR-20Ds which are a Proxi Fuzed version of the Agr-20A/M151 warhead, for anti helicopter/drone/and airbursting over infantry.
I also really want all the other vehicles that get APKWS to get the modern C and D apwks too.
the helicopter wouldnt be super useful without that stuff…
and everything needs the ability to buddy laze that should have it… M1A2 Sep V2 and V3, M3A3, Ah64, UH1Y/N, AH1W/Z. Aircraft with targeting pods… etc etc.
Anyway the UH-1Y would also be good at 9.3 with that loadout.
You could also add the UH-1N with CCIP and Hydra rockets, thermal and buddy lazing at like 8.7
though ngl alot of other US helis need their brs lower too cuz they aren’t good.
- AH1G for all nations should be like 7.3 cuz they are turbo trash.
- Italian AB205 should honestly be like br 6.3 and it will STILL be terrible down there… its such a sad helicopter…
- MI 24s P/V/ need to go from 9.7 to 10.0 or 10.3 they have fantastic AAMs, Rockets, atgms, and countermeasures all on the same platform at the same time. many higher tier vehicles dont even get that.
- UH1B should be 8.0 like the Mi4,
- Uh1C should be 8.3
- Ah1E should be 8.7 max
- Ah1F/S (all nations) should be 9.3 and the US one needs its missing countermeasures.
- Japans tech tree Ah1S without Cms should be 9.0
- AH6M should be 9.7 sense it doesnt have CMs, or AAMs, and has a very limited weapons supply.
- Ah1W (all nations) should be 10.7 like all the other helos its similar to… infact many of them have better loadouts than this thing does like the Lynx, and Mi24s at a lower BR.
- Ah64Ds all nations need AGM-114Ls, i dont give A F about seeing through smoke or whatever gaijins dumb reason is for not adding them. its not fair that the US doesnt have buddy lazing, and doesnt have any FAF atgms when everyone else has fire and hide missiles.

would definitely need APKWS improvements but those are needed anyway
imagine gaijin added the 19 rocket pods of HEAT APKWS then there might actualy be a reason to bring them because right now the SAP ones struggle to kill many AAs and the HE ones are even worse
btw gaijin doesnt even have the correct APKWS data… they made the rockets heavier than IRL which means they are like 100m/s slower than they should be…
see here for basic physics/data as well as me mocking them for small brain.

yeah looking at bug reports for APKWS is just sad for how many have been ignored or accepted for years without being fixed
one of my fav helos, i wish it it could be added as either a premium or squadron (bc heli grind makes me wanna explode)

heli grind isnt too bad now that you can research with ground vehicles, the mod grind for them still sucks though
