Being able to lock on target with an Xbox are a PlayStation

I’m waiting for your evidence that it can lock targets behind obstacles.

I’m not wrong, the video above proves it.

Player being able to lock on target that he can’t see because it is behind an obstacle and track it.

Like maybe watch the video that was posted here?

That video shows that it only locks when he can see the plane, still waiting for your evidence that it can lock targets behind obstacles.

Can’t you choose to play the game without cross platform? Playing against other PC users would eliminate this problem would it not?

4:35? Jesus watch the whole video maybe

Show me a video of someone locking a target behind obstacles on a console from his point of view and not from a server replay.

How can you tell that player is on a console? You would have to be playing on a console to know for sure who is and who isn’t playing on a console, the icon also shows for players using their console account on PC. The difference is that when you are playing on a console you still see the gamepad/icon next to the names of those that are really playing in one, if that player is using a console account on PC it would show a PC icon.

That video doesn’t even show that the player is playing on a console.

This regardless of my opinion that it shouldn’t track behind obstacles.

The video shows it all.

Prove that it can’t and we can move on.

The video shows nothing since you can’t even tell for sure that it is a console player.

This was my ingame name when they added the gamepad/controller icons to the game in late 2020, I was playing exclusively on PC for more than 3 years then already.

So again, how can you tell that player on that video is playing on a console with a controller? Cause you can’t say for sure that it is a console player playing on a console with a gamepad/controller, you would have to be playing on a console to know that, it’s the only way unless you see it from his point of view and not a server replay.

We have one video showing that console player can lock and track (the video showed on console) and we have someone locking and tracking an air vechicle that is behind an obstacle (console player to be sure, not sure that he is at console at that moment).

So we have enough evidence to say that it was a console player. **Do You have any evidence that **
contradicts that a console player can lock and track a target behind an obstacle?

You have one video where you cannot show a console player locking on a target behind an obstacle, only on targets that he sees, and you have in the same video a part where someone using a console account seems to be locking on a target without even seeing it. And that is not possible on console, you have to see the target to be able to lock and track it.

The video shows player locking and tracking an air vechicle behind an obstacle and his account was made on console.

Prove it then.

The only thing you can say is that it is a console account, it could be playing on PC and it could be really cheating. On console you can’t lock on targets you can’t see.

Prove it then, I will be waiting.

Tanks locking and tracking air targets in RB - Ground Battles - War Thunder - Official Forum Topic on old forum talking about it

Better read it first… those are PC players saying that they can use it 🙄 You just needed to read the first one where the OP says:

"I took time to see where it came from. Is there a new cheat mode? Is it the aim assist helping the console folks to aim on their silly controllers? No. Not even that. It’s just in the game, there is an auto tracking feature, you can now lock air targets, push a button, and the gunner will follow the air target. It will track the air target through buildings, forests, all you have to do is add a little correction and the plane will come down."

Sorry, wrong thread.

But I have found another video showing a player with console account tracking an air target behind an obstacle:

Gaijin have gone to lengths to make ULQ less abusive but the amount of object derendering in 3rd person is hilarious, you are way, way more situational aware under ULQ than standard rendering.

Maybe learn something other than stat padding and specious arguements and we could discuss, but by all means continue to comment on this “wallhack” that you have 0 experience in using.

ULQ is not responsible for things not rendering, but keep talking about it, only shows how You lack when it comes to the knowledge about the game.

And really, if You need to throw insults in order to defend mechanism that allows players to lock on targets which they can’t see, then it shows something.

Not rendering objects under reducing memory load via reducing draw distance is part of ULQ. Do you have anything other setting than ignorant smug?

how complaints on the forum go: OP dies->says bias or something like what this post was->posts on forum->gets clowned for skill issue->complains-leaves discussion.
