Bases in ARB

It’s gotten to the point where base bombing is nearly useless in ARB, and the only people actually benefiting from it are just SL grinding with premiums (like the Ju-288, Wyvern, or F4S), which always beat tech-tree bombers to the bases. I get that premiums should have some benefits, but when a group of premiums snuff out everyone else bombing bases, it makes it that much more difficult to use entire lines of a tech tree.
I think there need to be changes to make bombing more useful to players and teams such as:

  1. Separating bases into types that can only be attacked by different aircraft (long-range/heavy bombers and strike/fighters at lower br’s; and strike and multirole fighter-bombers at higher br’s).
  2. Making loss of bases have more of an impact on tickets by increasing their damage to enemy teams, and also allowing airfields to be bombed once all the bases have been destroyed (similar to low tier games and arcade.).
  3. (More of a pet peeve, but still important) making sure bombers can actually destroy bases. I’ve played games in bombers where I have to rely on other bombers or make multiple trips just to destroy bases (Looking specifically at the German IL-28).

It would also be nice to see actual coordination between bombers and fighters (like fighter escorts), but I know most people wouldn’t actually do stuff like that unless there were good rewards for it.

They just need to add af bombing back. They could port over the sim af damage model too.
