Base rework idea

Hi everyone, I have a proposal about the Bases, an idea I formulated in my mind that is different from other ideas I’ve made
We all bomb bases in air battles for grinding or lack of skill, although I feel it doesn’t add any new gameplay and is just AFK farming. Besides, with the bomber buff, bases will simply become useless if they give fewer rewards than PvP.
It would also affect satisfaction, as it would transform a game into a simple, monotonous task, like a daily chore. My idea would be to add 4 anti-aircraft guns, either SAMs or AAA, to add some difficulty and more health to the bases, in addition 15,000 RP per base.
In addition, we would need to add a mechanic for destroying aerodomes to add more incentives and really create collaboration, obviously also increasing the number of tickets that can be taken from the enemy.
And I also wanted to mention a new mechanic that could revolutionize how we destroy bases. Instead of simply dropping dumb or smart bombs on top-tier bases, we could drop bunker-buster bombs. This wouldn’t damage the base as much but would take away more tickets and give more rewards, since it technically destroys important installations beneath the base. This would make the gameplay more diverse, creative, and very motivating.
And another way, but for armed convoys, would be to use cluster bombs, to deal with larger targets with weak vehicles or simply to overwhelm anti-aircraft defenses

true!

are we seriously trying to make 1 base worth ad much as 4-5 air kills after calling it unskilled AFK farming…? what even?!
bases if anything should still be worth less than player kills, and the gameplay will remain fly in a straight line press space repeat no matter how you try to change targets

bombing airfields was removed ages ago on most maps because it was actively detrimental to the game when aircraft with large payloads (particularly TU4/B29 and F-4C) were involved, so yeah no!

What I want them to do is replace existing bases that use HP with bases made up of actual buildings like we saw in the Deep-Strike event, but at a range of sizes, some as small as 25-30 buildings, others maybe up to a 100-150. With the base “destroyed” when a suffeicent number of buildings have been destroyed by not necessarily all.

Buildings then be given a variable resistance to attack depending on what they are, with some lighter ones (such as a refinery) attackable with rockets all the way up to reinforced targets (Submarine pen, ammo depot, command facility, etc) needing AP/Bunker buster bombs.

I would also add “weakspots” on the strong buildings that could be destroyed with careful aim of bombs, give a reason to bring to GBUs and aiming carefully over just mass spamming bombs, currently bringing GBUs is entirely a waste of time. (this concept could also be taken further by having “friendly” buildings close by, so colleratal damage comes with a penalty)

By adding not only a range of target types and sizes, but also randomising what spawns everytime… you can create something that feels different and dynamic.

Replacing at least the forward Airfield with modular airfields like we have in ASB would also give another target to bomb, guaranteeing something, anything to bomb.

These same targets could be added to AAB, ARB, ASB and NE without issue then.

With rewards then based both on destroying buildings (which can vary based upon resistance levels) and how mcuh you contribute to destroying the bases overall. How much that rewards im not sure, but each base should take more than 1 strike fighter to destroy, so it could be quite a bit, especially with the removal of diminishing returns, aircraft that can take a lot of bombs, would have a reason to do so.

As for Air defences… ASB and NE 100%… AAB and ARB… im not sure, at least, no where near as strong, NE is the long duration match type, and I think ARB should remain fairly short in comparison and with a single life, I dont think there is enough time for full SEAD
