Has anyone else noticed this or am I going crazy? It’s not like the number was in any way meaningful to the player but they at least let you see what loadouts did the most base damage.
Noticed this for many planes too, such as the F-4EJ kai
I am seeing this issue as well in the current client.
The “Estimated damage to bases” and “Reward multiplier for bases” values used to appear in the Secondary Weapons screen when selecting an aircraft loadout. I may be missing a setting or option, but these values no longer appear for me.
The older F-4S screenshot below shows the previous UI, where the tooltip displayed:
- Estimated damage to bases
- Reward multiplier for bases

The screenshot below is from my current game client. The same type of Secondary Weapons tooltip now appears to only show the changes to vehicle specs, with the base-damage estimate and reward multiplier missing.

This seems to have happened around the recent UI/stat-card changes, possibly alongside the new missile flight data/trajectory comparison features in the Secondary Weapons menu.
Is anyone else also seeing this, or is there a setting/option I have missed?
If others can confirm it is missing for them as well, I think this should probably be treated as a bug/regression rather than a suggestion, since the value used to be visible in this same Secondary Weapons screen.
If this was an intentional UI change, I would like to request that the “Estimated damage to bases” and “Reward multiplier for bases” values be restored, since they were very useful for comparing bombing, rocket, and napalm loadouts before entering a match.
Older screenshot source for comparison:
I can confirm that the “Estimated damage to bases” and “Reward multiplier for bases” have disappeared from the secondary loadouts selection menu in the hangar (here in the French version of the game).
It used to be present, as in the first screenshot from Daveblade_ in the message above.
I agree this should be considered a bug.
(Game version 2.57.0.27)
I experienced this bug as well. After checking the War Thunder Bug Forums, I found only one report about this feature being missing, and it’s described in just a single sentence.

I’d like to submit a more detailed bug report on the War Thunder Bug Forums using the information you wrote in this post. Would that be okay with you?
1 kg of TNT gives 19 points of bomb damage. The highest amount it takes to destroy a base is 22500 points of bomb damage so it takes 1185 kg of TNT to destroy a base. Anything over 1370 kg is wasted and lowers your score when bombing bases.
Okay, so I’ve submitted a detailed bug report on the War Thunder Bug Reporting Forum regarding this issue. It would have been much more difficult to put together without the useful information that Daveblade_ provided, especially the comparison screenshots. Thanks again for allowing me to use them!
If anyone else is experiencing the same issue and wants to see it fixed as soon as possible, clicking “I have same issue!” on the report could potentially help speed up the investigation.
