i just bomb 2 bases and we won this round. normally i got about 15k points … but now … look at the stats…
why ?!
(edit: yeah bla bla, i know bombing with su27 is for noobs… i know;-) )
Few weeks ago there was a fix for rockets (you could destroy whole base with the right amount of unguided rockets before that fix, now you have to use these rockets few times to destroy a base) and there was a nerf for RP multipliers for bombs and rockets.
base bombing got nerfed. this was caused by fighters being scumbags stealing bases with rocket salvos meaning bombers couldn’t do anything, they also reduced the RP from bombing bases slightly
so strategic bombers that basically only can destroy bases are now even worse, or are their multipliers higher?
worse, significantly worse. low tier bombers and high tier strikers have been completely screwed by people in kfir canards base rocketing. Even the wyvern doesn’t give very good rewards anymore its got that low
I wonder if there is a fix incoming for strategic bombers, so they have a purpose in the meta.
For years it has been kinda bad
doubt it, such a QOL change only happens after a massive review bombing
i like the the reduced bombing rewards way less brain dead f4s players now days
That’s a pathetic amount of RP. This is an advertisement to not waste money on Premium time. If i’m going to get screwed, I can get screwed for free.
Gaijin nerfed rockets but buffed napalms… and even MiG-21 could bomb base now
And another problem is, some fighters like Phantoms are usually used as bombers even in real life
i dont think buffing napalm damage on bases was a good idea because planes like the mig 21 can now take them from buccaneers, su25s and A10s. they had it bad enough. Im not against phantoms being able to base bomb as they were fighter bombers as you said, I just wish the rewards were different and better for bombers that are only bombers
Maybe we could have Multirole Fighter category for Phantoms, JH-7 and Tornados, this kind of fighter could get more bombing reward than fighters and less than old strikers
And nerf the bombing score for Air Superiorty Fighters, give them dogfight score
For attackers, make them spawn more near to base to make sure they could get earlier than fighters
That sounds like a good idea, one bonus for fighters that had bombs strapped to them such as the saudi lightning, one for multiroles like phantoms and harriers and the largest for bombers. it will both kneecap wyverns, kfirs and mirage base bombers while not punishing bombers for doing what their plane is meant to do.
Bringing back air spawns at top tier for strikers and bombers at high tier too would be great
Also we should increase the lower reward a player could get from game or increase ways player could get scores
Or base bombing won’t stop because it’s a stable way to get rewards
On one match I played J-7E, shoot all missiles but they all be flared, then my teammate’s missile ignore the flare and get a kill, dogfight with another enemy but he also be killed by my teammate. I played 10 minutes with high attention, but I get 0 reward, 0 RP and 0 SL. It’s funny that even I got killed i will get 135 scores, but if i live to the end i will get nothing.
On another match I played Su-7BKL with 2 napalms, the only thing i need to do is aim to the nearest base, overtake Harriers and Buccaners, then drop napalms and return to base. I got more than 12000 RP from that match.
We should get something to increase what a brainful player get.
