those evaluations are technically restricted still even tho it proves that it has superior armour and firepower to anything the russians have yet dreamed of for a battle taxi.
because of the restriction it cant be used sadly.
Id love for the bradleys to finally see the performance they really offer but that is unlikley with the current path gaijin is taking
Yes that is true. I think it’s more just looking at what air gets in a year and wishing for the same treatment with ground. Also, as I stated already, the fact that Russia got the BMPT before the US can even get a bog standard LAV-25 is a little whack.
They can glean and use any information they chose as long as they don’t retain classified information in the game/company. They can be prediction, estimates, and informed guesses. If you have never been on/in one you can also see tons of videos showing how popular they are with troops. What’s offered are excuses, nothing more.
I did not say that there has not been good additions to the US, I said that there is more useful things to add whether that be through normal tech tree additions or event vehicles. The only recent additions for ground hey that have been good is the stingray and booker. Meanwhile Russia has got a stabilized t34, a btr82at, 2 new spaa (that are actually effective), and 2 bmpt’s. So yeah, other nations could use some attention instead of Russia.
Yeah, I don’t like when people’s first instinct is to tell people that “X” company made “Y” vehicle, that really leads to some interesting things. All about who operated it, or who the product was for. USMC did operate LAV-ATM.
Company of manufacture should only matter when its not adopted by another country
however i do think a version should appear in the home tree of that company, but when it comes to something like a GDLS subsidiary it should be to the country that subsidiary is based in, not the parent.
they can have their LAV-ATM then, but the LAV as a base platform is a canadian variant of the swiss mowag piranha. It doesnt have much attachment to the US really. LAVs by default should be under the canada flag.
Speak for yourselves, it’s the 2nd update that Italy doesn’t receive anything in the land TT to be researched in a soft way, instead I have to wait 2 months “soero” to be able to use the freccia 30 which then there are 2 variants and they couldn’t put them and not both, why? I don’t know, like when they put 2 artillery units for Russia, a TT and a squadron
Sort of, there are still a couple variants that just wouldn’t go to Canada (Britain), such as the LAV-AG, LAV-AT, and I believe the LAV-25A2. I believe Canada didn’t operate the “LAV-25A2” and it was instead under a different name.
I mean, I think it can be agreed on that ground in general needs a lot of love. Updates for the past couple years have been flooded with primarily air focused content, this is especially obvious when the major content for ground in an update is purely to counter these new aircraft. For future updates, when Gaijin adds next gen aircraft or more advanced, they should also add the anti air defense along with the aircraft. It makes 0 sense to not do it this way.
not all variants stay at home. britain doesnt have a Vickers E despite almost every other tree having a licence copy and evolution of it. generally thats fine as long as theres similar/equivalents in the tree
This is where I slightly disagree. Take the M8 Greyhound for example, which is an event tank in the US tree, but a reserve in the Chinese tree. It’s a relatively iconic piece, it doesn’t make sense that it was an event vehicle in the tree which manufactured it.
things like the greyhound or M3 Grant are where i draw the line too. they are too notable to not have obtainable appearences in their trees.
the M3 in the brit tree is locked as an event but its also a premium in the US tree, UNDER THE BRITISH FLAG because they never moved that premium over…
Iconic vehicles (other than memes like TOG) should be tech tree available.
I would say specifically jets get a lot of love (especially modern), Interwar/WW2 props are very rare additions and some nations are missing a lot of stuff from that era.
