Why is Russia getting more vehicles to supplement their already overdeveloped line, while other nations are being left behind? For instance, the US could have the LAVATM, LAV30, hummer with tow 2 launcher, Abram’s sep v2 with trophy system, sep v3, or Stryker ICV-D with 30mm and crows-j. Or what about even fixing the game, like the Imp chaparrals smokeless missle, or the aim 9m’s reduced smoke motor. But here we are adding more things to the Russian tree that simply does not need it. Still waiting on the accepted bug report for the claws radar to be fixed. Still waiting for the nasams to have its newer variant radar. But no, Russia just absolutely needed more vehicles in an already overpowered lineup. And at 10.3 nonetheless making 9.3 uptiers even more abysmal than they already were.

Not new to the game, just wanting to start a discussion about it. Everyone’s reasoning on why it was a necessary addition so far has been flawed. I’m sure the same names I’ve seen in my previous posts will weasel their way back in here just to stir the pot and spout some irrelevant bs thinking I actually care about their flawed logic.

Vehicles aren’t added because of need.
Need is an influence, but is not the reason.
The reason vehicles get added is cause they’re cool.
That’s ultimately why vehicles get added to War Thunder.
Gaijin will see holes to fill and try to find stuff for those, but they’ll also add things when they’re ready.
So are you implying that Russia is the only nation with cool vehicles? Because they’ve been adding in quite a more tanks that favor warthunders gameplay than other nations. I don’t see how this reasoning would correlate to them adding more things to the Russian tree than others. And actually useful vehicles at that. We got a low tier lot as a premium last update. Could’ve added in something useful but that was the decision they made…

Lol, aight out of all nations to cry about Russian bias and bring neglected - USA should be the last one. World’s smallest violin for any major nation player crying about Russia. There are some nations in need of TLC, and they most certainly don’t include Russia, Germany or USA.
Not sure what the LAV 30 is, but the LAV-ATM was operated by the US Marine Corps. I will also shamelessly add to vehicles the US could reasonably get: LAV-AG, LAV-600, LAV-AT, jeeps with RR (M151A1C) or TOW. M1117, Dragoon, LAV-25 (plus upgraded variants), Sargent Stout, XM1302, M2A4E1, HMMWV with RCWS 30mm and Javelin, 120 AGS, M551A1 TTS (quite literally one of the easiest additions here), ELKE, V-150 series, literally any of the upgrades for the current: T29 (T29E3), T30 (T30E1), they should have been added when the vehicles were added. T57, T77, T69, T249 Vigilante (cool gimmick), M163 without radar (would be like the ZSU we got, maybe even give it its APDS). Not to mention the other variants of the M109 which would actually be beneficial. Gaijin likes to add US tanks in their first iterations and then not add their updated variants.

I understand this is how Gaijin rolls, however, BMPT before even the base LAV-25 is kind of wild.
By all means please share what you think should be added. I don’t speak on issues I’m not familiar with and admittedly, I’m not all that familiar with other nations military. I use the US as an example because that’s what I know. I agree that other nations should also be seeing more attention.
Correct me if I’m wrong, please, but this year the US got 6 ground vehicles (in TT), 2 of them having no offensive capabilities (SAM systems). The Booker and Stingray filled gaps in the light tank line, that I can’t complain about. XM246 was a great addition as a tank destroyer, and the T1E1(90) showed some love to low tier. When you compare the ground additions to air though, that’s when people start asking where their vehicles are at.
I wish it worked that way so the POS that AJAX is can be put in the US tree as a badge of shame.

They should get off the hummers and use JLTV…it’s much more modern (should have been used for the nasams). Currently teams of terminators and 2s38’s are wrecking everyone.

Nah, HMMWV’s look better, are smaller profile, and are more iconic.
Gonna be real I dont think we can ever truly complain about the 2s38 when its been powercrept out of the meta even by offerings in minor nations now we have things like ajax. its got a good gun but its armour doesnt hold as well as the competition now
Wonder if Bradely is going to be improved since russian documents were leaked showing how good they were compared to their garbage. Prob not though…it will be considered “secret leaked” lol.
