BAe Sea Harrier - Technical data and discussion

The Squad FRS.1 is depicting the Falklands war variant.
the FRS.1 isn’t great but it’s still not necessary to have the Mikes.

Squad FRS.1 is post war.
The 4 x Sidewinder was introduced as they addressed the Sea Jets shortfalls during the conflict.

FRS.1(e) is the Falklands Variant.

If they fixed the issues with the Lima (And actually modeled afterburner plumes as a heat signature), then yeah, id agree, Mikes aren’t necessary.

Updated both FRS.1 and FA.2 to carry the Dechirped 9L.

That will be pointless

Pointless? its a massive increase in lock range.

Hasn’t stopped me pushing for it.

now we just hope Gaijin can add Dechirped 9L.
but already denied once .😭

This is why it will never happen, would be an unfair advantage to a nation that I dont think is actually allowed to be competitive

That would give UK 9L around max 20km rear lock

Yeah, though lock range, not actual range. Would be most useful in front aspect where firing at longer ranges actually has value

Also 9M is also dechirped, so its performance in game is completely wrong;

Now that would be a even bigger buff than deci 9l

9M and a dechirped 9L should have the same locking performance, just he dechirped 9L lacks any IRCCM.

and the 9M would be all nations, 9L would be Britain only right?

That is a reason why it would be a bigger buff. Around 6km front aspect smokeless irccm missile

i think only uk dechirped

Just the UK yes.

For both?

Yep
