BAe Harrier II (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

Thanks for the response, do we know if the expansion is planned for a Mid Life Update or next major?

best guess only a mayor update

There can be no doubt now the Harrier GR.7 operated the ADEN25. It was also cleared for emergency use. Another @Flame2512 find.

The ADEN 25 was indeed cleared for use on the GR.7:

A mixed load of ADEN 25 and TIALD pod was also flight tested:

Gun pod externally is also a little wrong, should be a bit more blubus toward the rear;

Looks like it would increase the drag

What different between current 25mm and this one?

The current version doesn’t have the bulge at the back to catch the linkage, the bulge was added as the linkage would damage the airframe. This is the version that was accepted for emergency use on GR7.

I’ve also reported the lack of ADEN25 for GR3 as it was trialled on GR3;

25 ADEN’s and CRV7’s. The GR.3 is getting somewhere.

are they the same rounds per gun?

Talking about loadouts, we still need 540s for most of the mounts. I still don’t get why that’s not something they’ve fixed yet

Looks like 102 rounds per gun might have been possible;

hell yeah, additional 4 ammo

You better believe it.

This feels similar to the GAU-12/U on the AV-8A (and GPU-2/A for the A-4) that has been sitting around as a suggestion for a while now.

What is this function, why is it doing this and how to turn it off
It turn on when you VTO, then set nozzles at around 50%, fly for a while and you try to set them back 100% again

Huh that’s new

I have not flew harrier this patch yet, and i took it out in a custom. I tried to brake in the VTOL (Nozzle 100 and nose up) and i got this. You can reproduce it in test flight and normal game too. I wonder what it is and if harrier even got a thing like that
