Bad weather makes CAS unplayable

Sometimes yes sometimes no but one thing we both certain is its quite fun challenge when you make it work :)

At least I don’t want to get Snake 100 skill at this moment, SP for CAS is too expensive.

Depends where you live, in britian you can get all 4 seasons in 1 day. Many battles happen at dawn or dusk for obvious reasons

You assume indepedence. But many military operations are based on weather or other circumstances like tides. You will only have the operations take place if these circumstances are given. Even if the circumstances occur only once a month or once a year, when it happens, they will be present.

Yes but aa is also as good as blind.

Goes both ways, it’s impossible to see planes as SPAA either.

In lower tiers it helps a lot if You are good with surprise attacks ;).

Not to mention that You can fly from the cloud, bomb enemy tanks that were marked by Your team and they fly back in.

You wanted realistic so you got it. Adapt your tactics to the weather. If it’s IFR conditions you may not want to bring CAS out. “All weather” just means the plane can fly in any weather.

at top tier its kinda annoying like i play sweden and when i hop into a aircraft like gripen i can do most of the time nothing other than air to air and some of the top tier aircraft have ground radars which are not implemented in my knowledge i know the gripens the viggens are had ground radar capabilities

@GoneToTheAether You have a some people here who don’t like the bad weather, not to mention that they are allowed here still to use the air.

Adjust, adapt, overcome.

In bad weather instead of going for high altitude guided munitions go low altitude and unguided.

Well, its weather and it random (wind speed, wind direction, cloud cover altitude, cloud cover thickness, fog, rain, snow, sun position …).

Unfortunately wind isn’t a thing in the game. The game can do it, but it isn’t used besides the rave trees.

Bad weather (2/3 of all games) is funny. Visibility is 200-500 meters. The plane jumps out of the void and immediately disappears into the void again. Unlike many planes, I can’t see through the fog (through houses, trees, etc. .).so far the advantage is always on the side of the aircraft.

Wind existed before back in a days when I played air RB. Maybe its not turned on for ground maps.

Interferes with cloud seeding and sound direction mechanics etc 😆

exactly what I do, even on clear maps I normally bring unguided since they can be more effective

No, you got radar and crew member reports, which aren’t affect by bad weather, so far the advantage is always on the side of the SPAA

Tell pls, how to overcome such kind of weather, or can you show me how to go to low altitude? let’s play a game.

Let’s bet 10 bucks that I use the M247 and you use any aircraft with this BR, you won’t have any chance of finding and destroying the target

Well, thanks to CAS it ACTUALLY kills you not to take SPAA with you sometimes :D

But honestly, it is pretty realistic that the wetter is just too bad sometimes. And it is not a balancing issue. Or is there some magical weather that I don’t know that just affects one team while the other can deploy CAS?
