Bad weather in simulator battles

I was in the Fw190 and got shot down my Spitfires at low altitude. The reason? I am forced to start diving above the cloud level. By the time they see me diving, they hide inside clouds, so I pulled back up. Rinse and repeat, I am at co altitude with them, I got to go defensive and got shot down. Any tips to fight these games and kill them?

Forget clouds exist, cause they are client side. So when you have cloud somewhere and you think you are hidden, someone else have perfectly blue sky on that spot and sees you.

In that case remove clouds completely.

Thanks guys, I will just climb and be patient, there is no rush to kill in simulator battles anyways.

Btw, just yesterday had my first evening/night battle in Sim EC in ages.

Coincidentally, I had the F-117 in my lineup: Wanted to play 11.0 in a lineup which also contains the F-117, and misclicked on a 9.7 match.

Weather was also not great, with cloud base at 3000 meters, so it was actually perfect conditions for the Nighthawk, and the first time I could fly it “in it’s element” and with quite good results!

Good result in plane that cant even destroy a base…

Well, grinding for a “kill ground vehicles with guided bombs” decal, so tank plinking works quite well. = )
