They’re not wrong in principle on this point. Every time Gaijin introduces a new “pack” vehicle and aggressively markets it, you get a flood of new players at whatever BR it happens to be at. Top tier just sells better and the player population is much smaller to its effect is magnified.

This forum always has posts from long term veterans with 25000 games saying goodbye to this game and the forum laugh at them when they go.Then we have posts like yours and a forum full of ODL complaints.
Even leading content creators on Youtube have stated they find Top tier unplayable or simply no fun especially USA.
So the old players are going and the WT community are still in denial over it.
That is just tough.Top tier vets once liked this game now they don’t and they are going only to replaced by Whales buying in. You have tiny teams because the players are not there.
Try and suggest this game is dying and see how hammered you get by the Gaijin butt kissing posse all telling you nothing has changed.
Gaijin wont change anything (apart form good maps) and calling for change is frowned upon heavily on this forum.So suck it up or leave like all the other good players did.

I think you are forgetting about how much the Leopard 2PL affected Germa top tier for a while.
I would agree but WR is what everybody seems to be throwing at each other.
If the OP can’t win a game with a bunch of losers then his WR will plummet which is why it seems silly to go to stats.
All boils down to defining a dying game.So numbers are the same allegedly but all the good guys left top tier and were replaced by God knows what so is the game collapsing or not?
Back to numbers again ,the OP only has 4310 games so what does that tell you?
How many times do we get a post that some player has had enough and are quitting. You look at their profile and its 25000-30000 games.
Is that a laughing matter? We all do mock them though don’t we but who has the last laugh really?

But that goes back to “players should be able to play anything they want”. Which I agree with.
But they should only be playing their fellow clubbers and anyone “smurfing” will rapidly rise out of reach of the real newbs.
I believe that Gaijin is aware of the current situation of the game, and well, we all know it’s horrible, it’s garbage. This is the feedback from most experienced players and other colleagues who are content creators that I know. I record on my channel ‘Bad Karma’ on YouTube, and sometimes when I read people’s opinions about the game, it feels like purgatory itself—just suffering and gnashing of teeth. Neither the enthusiast audience nor the casual audience is happy with the game, and I include myself in this. For months, I’ve wanted to sell my account and quit my channel because the game isn’t good, and the company has made it clear that this is intentional. It’s not like we haven’t suggested a thousand different things to improve the game; Gaijin doesn’t even need to think of ideas anymore because we love the game so much that we do it for free.
(I believe it’s not wrong for you to want profit, just like Gaijin does, but I also believe there are positive and negative ways to achieve it, and Gaijin makes the worst possible choice in this regard.)
But in the end, Gaijin will step on us and still spit on us. You know, I’ve been playing this game for 11 years and I’ve never seen it so bad. I can see Gaijin’s effort to bring us down to make us swallow the problem. After we get sad, just buy another premium pack, more golden eagles, right? Wrong, the happiness never lasts as long as you paid for it… you’re always the scammed fool. I don’t even need to say how the game is for those who don’t pay anything to them, right? xD
Before anyone says anything, I believe that those who defend Gaijin nowadays are terrible players who are supported by their parents, as they don’t know the value of the money they spend :)

Some people defend a company for other reasons than what you wrote. Sometimes it’s also->don’t want to see the game die nor trust another company to do it better which often isn’t the case.
Right now War Thunder doesn’t have any competition, so they have no reason to change anything.
No other game has Ships, tanks, and air in a single game that are all controllable. Other games may be able to compete on one side but cannot compete on all 3. There is a game forgot its name that is being made which might be able to compete with it but right now its in very early stages and it isn’t certain if it will be developed or not since we cannot predict the future.

At least 80% of the problems in this game are intentional due to incompetence or malice from Gaijin

It’s not about learning to tolerate. If there’s anyone who has tolerance and knowledge about this game, it’s me. I was here when it first came out, I was here when the main mechanics were introduced. I know what’s wrong and what’s right here. I have more hours in the game than some kids have been alive… believe me, don’t talk to me about tolerance. I’m still here, I just can’t stand ignorant people and defenders of this mess anymore.

I’m already used to my experiences and opinions being unpopular because players like me, like us veterans are year after year realizing that this game is slowly turning into a SCAM and is becoming extinct. I used to have at least 30 super active and skilled friends with whom I played frequently a few years ago. We all clearly said that War Thunder was the game of our lives. Some of us, despite the distance, met in real life and got to know each other’s families. I still talk to most of them today, but none of them could bear the disappointment the game brought them, and now I find myself alone here. Sometimes I wonder if the fault is ours or the game’s. It’s very sad for me to see how everything is going. They still try to play, but it’s like watching a life that will never return. Gaijin killed their hope…

All this started with ill judged update 1.29
Top tier used to be top tier…back in the day when Gaijin promised us “We will never release premium planes/vehicles for top tier”… Before they started printing money there was sense of achievement when player reached top tier…enter your ccv …welcome to top tier has destroyed that.
Once update 1.29 hit and Senio was moved aside …shitshow started.
