Gaijin doesn’t have any idea for the bombers since introduction of higher tier jets. They have been neglegted in this stage for many, many years. Then came the structural nerf, longer after that possibilty to detonate bombs and till this day they are in this weird place.
I honestly think that the first thing that should be done in comple redesign of targets you can bomb in Air RB. Make it bigger, add more variety and overall quantity and definitely a structural buff for bombers is needed so they don’t disintigrate after short 20mm bust.
Good point also Vulcan on the B52 in my opinion should get a buff to the range sure people can intercept from front on B52 but it’s still nice to have more effective protection
Ah, that one… didn’t watch it because everyone was really mad about it. but is he 100% sure we will never see a modern strategic bomber in the TT anymore?
And there would be a ground radar detecting the aproaching bomber formation and place the scrambled interceptors at intercept path so that they could effectively intercept said bomber formation, so at the very least at the same altitude. not to mention other, ground based air defenses.
but saclos range is what? 15 km’s… while if you climb to 6k meters you can drop the guided bombs from 25+ km away or more… add the ECM and b-52 will stand a chance and since the gnss/gps guided bombs only attack a static point in game getting kills wont be easy but bombers will have a chance at game…
I simply can’t use the tail mingun on the B-52 for some reason. I’ve changed all the gunnery controls and nothing works. However, I can use the gunners perfectly fine on the TU-95M without any problems. Does anyone have a miracle solution?
Initially, I thought it was a bug since the aircraft could only be tested in “test flight,” but I see that’s not the case.
