This is going to get this thread closed. I would respectfully ask you guys to take it to DMs or to not continue. History is filled with aggressions by people to people. You can be upset about it, wouldn’t dare say you can’t, but this thread is not to place to do it because Gaijin is just waiting in the wings for a reason to ban this topic.
First of all, it’s a THAI (as in Royal Thai Army) VT-4, it’s relevance to japan is zero besides tech tree placement.
Secondly, you can quite easily replace the japanese flag with the Thai one, and exclusively play the Thai subtree tanks if you are so offended by japan
Thailand is a sub-tree to Japan. It’s not Japan’s vehicle just like you are saying the M1A2T is not China’s vehicle, but Taiwans. Denying one and green lighting the other is a double standard.
The Taiwanese abrams isn’t comparable to the Thai VT4. China was supposed to get the Singaporean Leopard2 until certain members of the community bitched about it so in return the Chinese community bitched about the VT4 going to japan.
The hypocrisy would be adding VT4 to japan without leopard2 for china
That’s my issue with this debacle, a good 70% of complaints are from people who don’t even have japan above rank 2, yet insist on complaining on our (top tier japanese players) behalf
This being the second battle rating 12.7 main battle tank for China is fair in my opinion, hopefully soon Italy has a proper top tier vehicle for addition and Israel another main battle tank as secondary option at top tier battle rating. Honestly I was waiting with fingers crossed to someone create a thread about the taiwanese M1A2T Abrams then the flood of “Now VT-4 should be added” replies right after. Given that the VT-4 is at battle rating 12.3, I wonder what line-up could it make, logically China is the only nation where this vehicle could fit, one of the nations with the most amount of battle rating 12.3 vehicles and Japan with one (T-84 BM Oplot-T), small nations like Japan in my opinion gets vehicles in the matter of need not if it’s possible, even less with a sub-tech tree vehicles which usually are added merely to fill gaps or missing vehicles to make the nation in-par with others (see Su-30MKM, a great multirole for Japan will fill both gaps of air-to-air combat and air-to-ground, with this even making it nearly competitive as Soviet Union in this regard).
How about we add the VT4 to Japan, keep the Abrams for China, and move the Australian Abrams to Britain so Australia can have their things too. Then we can all be happy.
