Aviation battle issues

Hello, I am average player by measure of people’s mind, not high skilled but still build my personal opinion about state of aviation mode. After giving thousands and thousands hours to this game, to Aviation mode itself I want to point some main issues I was facing with playing Air Realistic and Air Arcade Battles. First of all, I passed grind of full 4 trees of USA aviation reaching of the latest jets on this moment so my opinion built on real game experience and may be maximum objective, I have not bought any top or pre-top premium jets, only have 3 rank 4.0 BR prop. Okay, lets come to the topic:

  1. Realism in battles. War Thunder positions itself as realistic battles on military vehicles but in the game, in Air Realistic and Air Arcade there is no division into specific teams and all nations are matched against each other(USA vs USA, USSR vs USSR etc etc), why it is bad: mixed nations destroying interest in competitive, closes possibility to reveal capability of any aviation vehicle as it was developed and built to fight against “X” enemy in the past, present. But for now battle are mixed and Focke-Wulfs just fight against same planes, same nation not just historical enemy. And near to top tier this issue become more visible, more annoying, it ruins game experience ruin exclusivity of nation, if I want to fight against USSR I have to select USA/Germany or vice versa, I don’t want to fight against clones of myself. You can call this issue as not issue, as balancing, but then you should not mention adjective “Realistic”, in Ground battles there is no such issue though, what problem to make it for Air Battles?
  2. Bombers class. Useless and painful unit, majority of pilots even don’t reach bases and have no possibility to bomb spreaded ground targets because heavy and slow plane/jet become a sweet cake for absolutely everyone and to drop even half bombs end up in hangar. Unfortunately Gajing stretching players making to play them, suffering in researching modules, weaponry and top tier bombers that already possible to use, of course people can avoid of grinding mods but then why bombers in the game…
  3. Battle Ratings. Perhaps the most important problem setting players into unfair conditions. Developers team or those who set BR should personally play every vehicle to understand where it supposed to be, server statistic cannot show full picture of this problem, at least there is should be votes for players who may help to ADD data to server statistic and then make a final set to BR. Otherwise there will be bunch of unplayable planes/jets. If in Ground Battles you still can play on bad BR and still can make small activity but in aviation BR may ruin full game experience. Let’s have an example: MiG29(USSR) should not even be on BR where you can face with much more powerful weaponry, F15A same problem. Premium Hornet, just fresh example, 12.7. Premium F2A -13.0. MiG29 Sniper 12.7. NETZ 12.7. These jets people pay real money for, but in the game in 70-80% of battles these jets will be in unfair battle where only high skilled player can somehow to play.
  4. Stock vehicles. Unfortunately stock vehicle too weak unit in the battle, yes Gajing added slightly more weapon for stock to confront of enemy but 2 additional missiles in most cases don’t help. Solution can be simple, just to give lighter(-)0.3 BR to stock vehicle and take back stronger missiles and when player will research better weaponry then please, play in fair conditions. Yes it’s complex work but who told it’s impossible to do in 2025 otherwise people will only get mad, disappointed by game, and I have to remind that this is game that supposed to bring fun and happiness but not negative emotions just because company does not want to make more complicated job.
    5)… this i leave for you guys to write your points. I wish Gaijin listen to carefully what people are complaining about because it’s free game, easy to quit and harder to come back.
