I’d prefer F-16C ID in the TT and F-16AM eMLU for the squadron. Practically the same but at least blk52ID got unique livery
I decided to keep both single-seaters in the tree as I thought they could maybe serve different ratings with different armament. I’m a bit skeptical of putting it as a premium as the F-2 ADTW and Su-30MK2 which is the more obvious option for a 13.3/13.7 premium given the current pattern, but there’s a lot of F-16s honestly to choose from, from Thailand and Indonesia that already have a filled niche in the tree.
As I said, I think the two seater F-16D or F-16BM could serve as a better squadron as an equivalent to the JAS39D in a way (slightly worse than the TT option).
Thailand also got Singaporean F-5S and F-5T while working on their own F-5T/TH upgrade. One F-5T even still sits at the RTAF museum.
Spoiler
They were mainly for parts use though, not actually serviced. I think even the livery is still the original Singaporean one.
I think if there would be one more F-5 it should be the Indonesian F-5E MACAN which can fill the same performance/role as the regular F-5E in game, but still has some unique aspects like an extended rudder, new radar and Indonesian domestic bombs.
to be deliver soon, expect end of month or next month
I might add them and leave with a (!) for now then, they’re Block 70s with AESA right?
correct, PhantomStrike AESA
Judging by the fact that they are adding the B-33. There’s a very good chance that most of the Tier IV-VI aircraft in the Indonesian Line would be of Soviet Designs or Eastern European (Czech & Polish) derivatives of Soviet designs such as the Lim-6, the rarer Lim-6bis, Tu-2 & S-101 as examples. The Fifth line could get the P-2 Neptune’s even if they are Japanese not Malaysian. Mostly because with the exception of the CL-41G. Malaysia never operated an aircraft that would be below Tier VI unlike Thailand or Indonesia.
And given that there are already precedents of Eastern aircraft straight up in top tier before lower ones, most of us won’t have a problem with it.
not sure with P-2J, it may be an even slower Canberra and no defensive weaponry ie. gunners?
there is consideration for MB-339AM as well given they are able to use DEFA cannons, compared to CL-41G that only has 2 7.62mm gun pods unlike Strikemaster that has 2 built in and 4 pods (though yes CL-41G’s gun pod is M134 minigun)
isnt the kf21 korean?
well yes but only Indonesia in near future for now
but yes T-50i/TH/FA-50M is still uncertain given usual “main tree should get them first before subtree” but United Korean tree hasn’t arrive yet
Thai and Indonesian yes, Malaysian is about to receive them soon
for KF-21 only Indonesia is confirmed as for subtree context (yes Philippines also planning to procure them but they’re not in Japan tree)
they have ?
i thought it was a korea only aircarft
it was a joint venture technically, but its predominantly SK, but that doesnt mean its wholly SK development. Indonesia will also build 15% of the airframe’s component for future aircrafts
ok
and can i ask a question about south koren tech tree
will it be like israel or like every other country?
its going to be like the chinese tree, where its a unitary country filled with both north korea and south korea
but further questions about this can be asked in the unified korea suggestion posts=
otherwise it would be offtopic for this page specifically
thanks
I decided to update it a bit, with some suggestions from others.
A quick summary would be moving around some of the folders from the base game (namely F-15J, F-5TH/F-16A OCU folder) and adding some new ones (F/A-18D Early and Late folder like in the US/UK Tree with F/A-18A and F/A-18A / C Late, Thai F-16 Folder). I also decided to swap out the XF-2A for XF-2B^ ( @_RODY ), moving around the T-50s ( @MAUSWAFFE + @NajmiCreative + @_RODY ), and making the F-16AM eMLU Squadron ( @NhifanHafizh + @买卖LG双门冰箱有意者请私信 ) and having a Thai F-16AM in the Researchable tree instead. I also decided to add “to be delivered” / “to be made” vehicles (!) back to the tree. I’ll be adding more as time goes on, especially in mid tier ( @THEPolishThunder Lims).

^I decided to go with the XF-2B for two reasons;
One, a XF-2 is something we should get in game
Two, I wanted a two-seater F-2 without compromising too much performance. Since the F-2A (L) was going to be end-of-the-line, it should keep the one-seater performance. The 13.7 F-2A is already a single-seater in game. The XF-2B would suffer from the worse performance of the two-seater but would still be one of the best airframes at 13.0. This is why I decided to keep it.
Oh yeah I also added the MiG-25P that defected to Hokkaido as an event, I stole the “Red-31” nickname from the suggestion.
