As a community we need to, and need to be able to, report 1 death leavers

Game would work like it works at the moment, rating will be based on place in team

That’s not the concern, the concern is them dumping their stats to bully lower ranked players, not for an increase in stats, but for trolling/griefing.

Yes, as they would be consistently able to do it at will.

So like people who use lower tier tanks on higher ranks?

As they can at the moment?

There lies issue because we have things like t58, turm 3, su30/34, mi28nm, z10me, ah64e and bmpt which arent acquainted with word “balance”

How would this effect current matchmaker for an advantage for those players?

No?

With a ranking system the vehicles that overperform will be caught out easier as You could see how “good” players play with it.

For normal users it will allow them to fight eople at the same skill level, or with same goal.

Player a 1.0 match and tell me how many veteran players are there and how many new.

Again the idea of “CHANGE THE REASONS”.
This is not going to work well.
I have read so many different reasons for ODL. You can’t control them all and change them all. Especially not without creating new ones.

However, most people are not willing to pay any price for ODLing. So if leaving before some reasonable condition “X” is met, would mean to say forfeit all rewards (from tasks, events and income) from this match and the next, many people might not leave before that condition is met. Because ODL will not further their goal, ODL is no longer fun.

Sometimes vehicles are screaming IM HERE IM IMBALANCED PLEASE LOOK AT MY STATS AND NERF ME but devs just ignore that sometimes. And during that period they can be abused.

That is why it is better to balance by place in team rather than pure kills/deaths when it come to players

Please, don’t make me laugh

I do not understand what you are saying here.

Currently the matchmaker does not take into account the players stats, so how would lowering your stats change who you play with?

How would you then start a new nation as a veteran if not by playing the lower ranks first?

People are allowed to play the vehicles they like to play, you can’t force them to change BR. I wouldn’t call this “sealclubbing” in that sense. A SBMM would result in players being able to bully lower ranked players on any BR they would want.

And if SBMM was introduced that would also result in ridiculous queue times for any veteran that would like to start a new nation.

If with SBMM people would lower their stats for trolling/griefiend it would be the same as people already do by using lower tier tanks in highier tier matches.

With SBMM veteran players would be put with veterans on lower tiers.

Current matchamking already allows sealclubbing as You get paired on random with people, meaning that a new player with enough “luck” could be put in 10 matches in a row against people who have played for years.

That would help with que times, ODL, and balance in teams.

That could somewhat work, but would be hard to implement without also accidentally punishing those that are just having bad days and play bad. I’ve had matches where i just couldn’t get a hit/kill in and after 5 minutes of play i had ~150-200 score with zero or one death. It would have to be an odd mix of playtime/score/deaths requirements or something in that case and that balance would be hard to get right.

Something they could do is for all those that bring just one vehicle (e.g: premium vehicles) and have no other vehicles of ± 0.7 BR unlocked; they could give them the same type of respawns that ground arcade has, 3 “free” ones (that still cost SP to make it somewhat fair) with that one vehicle. If they have more vehicles unlocked at a close proximity in BR they could be “forced” to take them in the lineup so if they leave after one death they get crew locked for that nation. Not super sure about this though and there could be issues with that solution, it was just an of the top of my head thought.

as much as i hate getting ganged upon by 5 level 100 players, this is coming as a level 39 player, its sort of a tougth luck situation, rigth now everyone has the freedom to choose their vehicles and honestly thats good, i am against different match maker system, what they should do instead is compress the brs so people actually dont figth overly uptired tanks, as an 8.0 player it feels abit unfair sometimes to figth 9.3 etc, just saying, those are also prob some of the reasons 1 death guys leave cuz they get ganged upon by much highr br vehicles, then you have maps and so on, not everyone likes all types of maps

This is part of what encourages ODLing:

3000 score game.

Only 62% activity.

136% economy, premium account, victory.

At 99% activity (which with 3000% score I would have for 5 minutes), it goes to:

(2 x 60 + 56) second x 1.36 (M4A4) x 2 (premium) x 2 (victory) x 0.71 x 0.99 =~ 672 RP.

Double checking if the calculation works against the ARL:
(13 x 60 + 56) second x 1.36 (ARL) x 2 (premium) x 2 (victory) x 0.71 x 0.99 =~3116
And what I got for M4A4:
(2 x 60 + 56) second x 1.36 (M4A4) x 2 (premium) x 2 (victory) x 0.71 x 0.62 =~421
Within marginal error for both. The calculation works.

Because I respawned, the game denied me 250 RP of income. Not AS significant in this case since I did get some score with the M4A4 as well in those 3 minutes… but we’re talking a rank III 3.7 tank over 3 minutes. Theoretically, I could have spent those 3 minutes requeing and getting 99% activity again.

Not sure i follow your logic here. How would leaving early have increased the score for your playtime in the M4A4?

As far as i understand it the activity % is a function of score in relation to playtime. Leaving earlier wouldn’t have changed the score nor the playtime of the M4A4.

Because the way GRB is set-up, your score earned with different tanks is independent.

It should apply equally to all vehicles used.

As stated earlier:

  1. Respawn if you have a back-up, as you retain score and thus activity%
  2. Spawn tank B if you have plenty of chances to earn score still (ergo: match is neither clearly lost nor clearly won. The clearly won one is the nasty one: you not respawning might make it no longer clearly won but you don’t know that. You can stay and get nothing for your troubles, or you can stay and end up with a second wave of hostiles)
  3. Otherwise, go next match.

In this case, the argument is that by going next, you can ensure you get score and thus activity and thus RP.

Which would be very open to exploit. I already mentioned that above in more detail.
