KH-38s are fast, really fast. You are left with very little time to react and defend against KH-38s, but given far more time to defend against AASM. But they both have the same major issue. IOG. Why MMW was removed from the Brimstones for balancing reasons but not IOG is beyond me.
Pantsir. A Pantsir can be a threat to any and all top tier aircraft and it only costs 70 SP. If you have 2 or 3 up, you are fairly safe from most CAS, especially as the Pantsir can reliably intercept incoming missiles. But every other nation is screwed and has nothing that can hope to even threaten an Su-34 let alone kill it, unless its played really badly unless they spend 700 SP on a CAP aircraft.
If you are opposed to the KH-38 being nerfed and having the IOG removed for balancing reasons, then you should also be against the Typhoon being ahistorically limited to Brimstone 1s. Otherwise, you just sound a bit hypocritical.
Fairly fairly certain the Typhoon is about 700 SP.
Sea Harrier FA2 is about 600 ish iirc. Fox-3s add about 100-200 SP. But even the none-Fox-3 aircraft, 500-550 SP is still way too much if spawning an aircraft is the only meaningful defence against CAS. Especially when the Pantsir only costs 70 and is effective agasinst most CAS

Bringing PW4s or Brimstones is only 216 additional SP btw. So its nearly as expensive to Bring a Typhoon for CAP as it is to bring it for CAS
Again the gripen is still under 600 with 4 R darters and 2 9Ms for me those are fox 3s.
while it is high, its extremely easy to attain that level of SP .
You wonder why its 700 sp youve got 10x missiles on it. For cap you only need the amraams. the 9Ms are pretty pointless.
You are adding literally more SP to it that it doesnt need.

Thats not how SP points work. It solely goes by the most expensive item to equip. You could run 1x PGM-2000 and 12x Brimstones on the Tornado Gr4, the SP cost would be the same if you ran 1x PGM-2000 and no Brimstones or 3x PGM-2000s.
I had a single AMRAAM, therefore it was that extra cost. Same for the Gripen. Whether you have 1 R-darter or 4, the cost is the same and if you replaced one of those R-Darters with an AGM-65, then the SP cost would be the same regardless of how many R-Darters or AGM-65s you had equipped.
Because thats the primary weapon of the Typhoon and how are you meant to deal with an Su-34, or F-15E or Rafale spawning with ARH if you only have a few Aim-9Ms?
Or even nothing. I have no idea. but I would guess R-Darters are just that bad.
I tend to spectate for about 30 seconds to a minute after death to them, most kh38 slingers these days have enough sense to stay out of range and by the time they do get close half the teams already dead and the game as good as lost. Adats is just free food to them
Within the context or a Typhoon thread. Thats either one of the 10.3s for Britain, The OTOMATIC for Italy or one of their 10.3s or the FlakRad and whilst the FlakRad is okay, its still not likely good enough
I use aim9ms in grb on the f15A to deal with cas.
The smokeless motor is a death sentence, even taken out ef2000s with it.

Who cares ? I don’t see many Typhoons in reallife pulling 15g all the time either, yet here we are.
Su34 is just more braindead to use, i would still take the Typhoon over it in any scenario.

Though Germany can sometimes do something, its rare. So that just means that Sweden, China and France have something might be of use. Still not great for most nations.
Its accurate to all available IRL data and its funny watching people try and nerf the Typhoon only to get rejected because they are using bad sources or the fact their data does nothing to actually argue against the data already submitted.
If Su-34 or Rafale can be at full power in terms of guided CAS. Then so should the Typhoon.

2 x aim9m and 4x R- darter and it costs 54. in a custom loadout.
Yet with the premade loadout with 2x aim 9M and 2x R darter it costs 190.
The adats missile buff has imrpoved the capability of the missile in closer quarters so when someones actually in engement range. but yeah unfortunately mate it does suck. the Type 81 for japan is my next spaa and its lethal apparently if used right.
Im sorry but the VT1 thrower for germany ive seen do plenty in many matches, as for the ITO and TOR they are absolutely good SPAA, not a case of “might be of use” they are of massive use to teams.
Rafale isnt as far as im aware at its full capabilities.
and again, saying the typhoon should be at its full power in terms of guided munitions means 18 x brimstones FnF .
which obviously isnt balanced.
Personally id rather see all of these gen 4.5s and gen 4 strike craft removed from GRB as they are nothing but a bloody plague.
regardless of spaa or tank you use.
We need a balancing patch or overhaul for the game at this stage. its ridiculous that all of this nonsense is on going.
