Ehhh, I think it would have to lose DM53 for that. That round is just too powerful for that BR.
With DM33, 10.7 would seem fine. Very comparable to a 2A4.
If you removed the DM53, they really would be 10.7-11.0 worthy tanks
I don’t approve of giving ammunition that is too good compared to the platform it is fired from, it is just a way to artificially build a top tier lineup where there is none.

Even with the just cl 3143 11.0 would be a bit too low, just 0.3 difference with the ariete p, while having a better round, lws and better optics, i think that 11.3 would be fine, sure you would keeps seeing 12.0 but you wouldnt face 12.7 cas which is probably more annoying
Ariete, Challengers, Probably most of the Merkavas. Should never have moved up in BR last BR change, they should have remained where they are and gone down.
Also…
Tad bit of cherry picking here. Add the CR2 to that list, especially the TES or OES. Base CR2 is like 18.7 hp/t with the TES/OES at 16 hp/t.

In alternative gaijin could fix Ariete armor accordingly to this bug report accepted one year ago

Even with the armor fixed it wouldnt be much of a change, without the war kit you will keeps getting lol penned with pretty much every round at top tier, while with it you would still get killed by m829a2, dm53 or m338

If their armor can’t be increased to something decent, I believe it’s for the best to move the Arietes down and let 2A7HU and future additions (light tanks, SPAAs) form Italian top tier.

I find it extraordinarily difficult to believe the figures in that bug report.
I’m sure the values in game are probably underestimates, but those figures are wild. That’s like… The kind of figures that Merkava should be… only except Merkava weighs 20 tons more lol.
Yeah, I usually skip the AMV unless I’m feeling adventurous :) Although KF41->Freccia->Centauro after the 2A7 works very well. Just get enough scouts and assists to spawn my AH-129D and be a heligoblin :D
That isn’t even all that top tier considering the chances to actually proxy hit anything past 5km out are somewhere between slim and none if whoever is flying wiggles just a little. Great against helis and strike drones, though. But I still use the Mistral equipped SIDAM even though no IRCCM - still do better with it :D
That’s assuming the Ariete (P) is 10.7 worthy; it was given DM33 where most of it’s 10.7 counterparts only come with DM23 - I feel the Ariete (P) is better off around 10.3, with the the regular Ariete and the PSO at 11.0, and then the AMV at 11.3 (without DM53) because it has slightly better mobility.
Don’t think it even works against drones when the proxy has a larger trigger radius than explosive radius so never does damage.

I shot down 2 drones with the Otomatic about 2 hours ago - granted they were not juking and coming right at me so chances are they flew into the explosion… or maybe I just got incredibly lucky :D
