I understand your frustration and agree 100% but going on about it in this manner is bound to get negative reactions from the mods. I don’t think people would mind the ridiculous grind if the game wasn’t so frustrating. I’m pretty sure the devs do this on purpose to push players into spending money in hopes of making the game less frustrating. We constantly get drip-fed new cosmetics and top tier planes while they completely ignore suggestions that would make the game more enjoyable, for example, Air realistic EC or a ground only mode for tanks.
Yea, i am bored. No new vehicle can help about the fact thet WTs gameplay is just boooriiiiing. Seriously, something like Enduring Confrontation should be the baseline. I want more gameplay content, more objectives, more actual gameplay viarity between the maps, more targets with bigger Playspace, more PvE content in general (I hate PvP by the way).
Away with the practicly deathmatch. i want a gaint sandbox of possibility to go with the endless numbers of vehicles in this game.
Gaijin actually did some things in the past that was interresting, The Polend Map Town being fully destructable, the famouse D Point, the sea defenses in the Franz Josef Land and all the freaken April Fools events.
They could, they just don´t for whatever reason. But the community stands in the way aswell. To many “wanna be” Chads who care only about Deathmatching and there scoreboard stats, prud history purist who want everything to be only historical accurate and many other types of boring people.
The veto of the APHE nerf being a perfect example. Finally we could have a significan´t reduction in instakills and good reasons to choose other ammo types. But nah, to many people being scared there monotone WT life could be shaken up in any significant way.
TL;DR: I want gameplay to be expanded in all directions. Stop the monotone “quasi deathmatch” garbage.

yes I be bored grinding planes, BUT I need planes that are competitive air cover or CAS at the BR’s I’m playing GRB at.
Tank only is a terrible idea. We need a spaa buff/fix patch + better rewards for shooting cas down.
rigged games, when not pay for lies, will be boring games, nerfed accounts, ghost shells, in visible enemies and help wallet warriors, yes boring but never pay to be lied

Wouldnt really be artificial, most spaas are absolutely fucked at top tier, saclos nerf makes them behave in a utterly nonsensical manner + many of em are straight up missing capabilites. Hell ever talking about manpads, if mistral and stinger had reliastic lock range against helis + maneuverability bugf they would be much better already.
And at moat brs you dont really need spaa bufs you just need good rewards

IF spaa gameplay would be fun, people would not be ditching the grind of SPAA. And people would focus on shooting down planes, but they rather drive around with APDS acting like TDs.

I mean seriously, killing a plane at low tier (idk about top tier, not there yet) with an SPAA takes skill or incredible luck, for me at least. I have had an easier time killing an undamaged Maus than I have had killing planes, so I don’t understand why rewards are low, especially if you include the effect planes can have on a battle, where they can completely change the tide of the battle.

So gaijoobles, I ask you this: can you please increase rewards for killing planes in ground battles?
Planes are worth the same as tanks, in fact are worth more.
Ground kill = 47 RP or 1000 SL
Air kill: 71 RP or 1500 SL.
What makes people think planes give bad rewards is the severe damage mechanic splitting up that 71 RP into 80% for doing the severe damage and 20% for the actual kill.
Thus when you get “Plane killed” on your feed, you’re seeing only 20% of the actual reward you received, as you already got 80% but it only shows up in your post-battle report
This is complicated by the fact that if someone else inflicted severe damage, you’ll only ever get 40% of the actual reward, and they’ll only ever get 80% of the reward (for total of 120% spread across 2 players). This is usually marked by “X finished off” or “severely damaged kill counted.”
Demonstration:
42/(42+168)x100=20%
585/(2341+585)x100=19.99%
However, when you kill an aircraft you’ll only see the 585, not the 2926
See? Plane kills are well rewarded, better than vehicle hits at least.
Problem is the fact that the bulk of your rewards in all game modes are not given for kills, but for survival and maintaining score at a prescribed minimum.
huh, okay. that’s news to me.
Im bored because its takes ages to research 1 vehicle, and no new vehicles or fun vehicles are being added when they should. Most tanks mow have 5sec reload, vehicle that should of been added 2 years or 1 year ago still havent been added. There’s no fun at all, i get on every update, nothing new or enjoyable, get off till next update.
Well if we actually could enjoy the vehicles we are taking so much time spading I’m indeed pretty sure poeple would be a lot less negative and bored of the game but the map design and gamemodes are so bland that it’s becoming boring very, very quick.
Well in that case the addition of a new gamemode wouldnt hurt you anyways?
I wouldnt mind CAS as much if the maps were bigger and they wouldnt have to look for me and my allies in a 500m radius but the maps are so cramped that it’s inevitable that you will get bombed much more often than not. And planes shouldnt be as easy to get into anyways but that’s another topic.
