+1, there’s not much fun left in getting new planes only to play 16v16 deathmatchs. Should have some kind of persistent world war mode or something maybe also a sim lite mode with mouse controls but restricted to cockpit view

Every other game getting bombed by PLANES, must be fun getting killed by things my vehicle has no counter
Didn’t even read it, but yeah, I got Burt out after my premium time ran out, the grind is so anemically slow it’s actually painful. CS2 hate lobbies to the rescue though, never get bored listening to slows yell insults and slurs at the top of their lungs because someone is better than them.
Yes a tank only mode would be great.
We need:
- Tank only GRB gamemode
-ARB EC
-GRB EC
-PvE GRB on very big maps
This game doodooness is visible because no map or gamemoe is made to showcase and maximize the newer vehicles capabilities. fuck you mean a multirole fighter can only fly with missile if it wanna be competitive at air battle mode?
War Thunder is in need of AI overhaul that’ll allow it to have air RB EC and a better simulator for starters.
The new AI would also make PVE game modes far more enjoyable and plausible.
AI overhauls of course are extremely labor intensive, so applying pressure every so often is a good thing.
However, we cannot expect something with the potential to take years to take a few months.
Yes, I’m very very bored of air rb… Air RB EC is needed NOW. I want to actually use jets such as the JH-7A, J-11B, Tornado, F-15E properly, ground pounding buildings and ships… Air RB is very stale and I don’t think I can play up to even October 2025 🤣
Unusually good point from your ass but there’s slight need to peel off dev asshole. this game has had multirole jets since phantom got birthed into 4 different tree. “we cannot expect something like that to just take month” is defending dev lazy asses more than they deserve. because you gotta be real with be, bet they coded event like desert of arrakis and mad max in about 3 month or so. how hard it is to code a slightly more souped up EC with an already existing codebase?
Not bored at all … still loving it after all these years.
If you are bored, suggest playing something else … or read a book, go for a walk, etc, etc.

If you can develop a game AI for air, navy, tanks, and helicopters in less time it took Eagle Dynamics [3 years], you’re more than welcome to try.
War Thunder’s base AI is from 2010, and there are A LOT of systems added since 2020 that would’ve prevented AI from being developed.
Like how do you get the new AI to launch AMRAAMs without AMRAAMs in the game?
Mad Max had no AI, Arrakis had no AI, both used existing code with minor changes for existing systems.
